Publication The Mediation Effect of Cash Waqf Preference: Case Study in Indonesia(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2020-11-10) ;Dian Masyita ;Fitri HastutiMuhammad FajriThe objective of this study is to analyze factors that significantly affect Muslim preference on cash waqf and to assess its mediation effects to cash waqf contributions. Using primary data on three hundred respondents in Indonesia, the study adopted structural equation modelling as tools of analysis. The research confirms that religiosity, knowledge on cash waqf, convenience, benevolence of cash waqf institutions, and promotion as major factors to significantly affect cash waqf preference. Hence cash waqf preference mediate the relationship between those exogenous variables with nominal of cash waqf, the repetitions and the intensity of cash waqf.
