The German orientalist Gustav Flügel (1802-1870) was the first editor of Al Fihrist of Ibn Annadim who revealed the priceless value of this book for all researchers. Professor Bayard Dodge was the next to re-edit Alfihrist and translate it to English assisted with remarkable specialists. His translation overrun errors of scripts copiers and defects of damaged manuscripts, and dominated even the original Arabic copy!. The earliest Muslim scholars did not pay much attention to alfihrist because of sectarian accusations that classified Ibn Annadim as a Shiite. Therefore, this study is concerned to investigate the charge of sectarianism through several connections. Some of them related to the nature of communication between Sunnite and Shiite, others based on anatomize terms and conception that widely spread in Shiite literature and Ibn Annadim utilized them in his book like (Awam, Hashawiyyah). Methodology of Annadim shows celebrating of some companions and scholars that Shiite never do, at the same time his tendency to the doctrine of Mu’tazilite is unmistakable.
