Publication Customers' Preferences Toward Shariah Compliant Services in Banks Among Academicians and Non-Academicians in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Pahang(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2013) ;Abbas, R.Abd Kadir, M. R.The purpose of this paper is to examine the main factors that influence customers to deal with Shariah compliant services particularly in a dual banking environment in Pahang. This study presents primary data collected by self-administered questionnaires involving a sample of 240 academician and non-academicians in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Pahang. The study was set out to establish a ranking of the various factors which influence their bank selection decision and seek to determine homogeneous academician and nonacademician are in relation to their Shariah service selection decision. The factors are analyzed using t-test. This study revealed that the selection of Shariah compliant services appeared to be predominantly a combination between quality services and the lowest service charges by banks. More significant differences in preferences were found when academicians were compared with non-academicians in the Shariah service selection decision. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Hubungan Sunnah Rasullullah S.A.W. Dalam Amalan Berkongsi Makanan Menggunakan Dulang Dengan Tahap Kekenyangan(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2018) ;Abu Bakar, I. ;Hashim, N.A. ;Mohd Tamrin, H.N.Abbas, R.Berkongsi makanan di dalam dulang adalah sunnah Rasulullah S.A.W. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti hubungan antara kaedah berkongsi makanan di dalam dulang dengan tahap kekenyayang. 108 dan 120 responden telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata daripada populasi kajian berdasarkan jantina dan umur. Tahap kekenyayang diukur menggunakan skala Likert 1- 5 dan data kajian ini dianalisis menggunakan Perisian Statistik untuk Sains Sosial (SPSS) versi 21. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan yang negatif dan sederhana (r=0.37) antara tahap kekenyayang dengan beberapa individu yang berkongsi makanan di dalam dulang, dan menunjukkan hubungan yang positif pada tahap rendah (r=0.28) di antara tahap kekenyayang dengan pembahagian makanan. Makanan yang dibahagikan kepada 4 bahagian adalah mencukupi untuk dikongsi oleh 6 orang yang menunjukkan tahap kekenyayang yang sederhana
