The Quran and Sunnah used the word halal and haram in two different meanings i.e. moral conducts and material forms. It is very common to hear in Muslim societies the connotation of' halal or haram or this is not halal. Even to a certain extent that in some multi-religious societies the word halal become. the first thing to be noticed by non-Muslims about Islam. The concept of halal plays a bigger role in the life of businessmen where they have to satisfy the demands of their Muslim customers for example to get the confidence in buying and selling in this sensitive part of muslim belief. The non-Muslim businessman who are being 'forced' to live together with Muslims as citizens of the same country where they have to gather and mix together in some religious or social occasion to exchange foods or gift. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Factors Influencing Acceptance Of Grasshoppers And Other Insects As Food: A Comparison Between Two Cities In Malaysia(Licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerland., 2022) ;See Meng Lim ;Chai Nei Thien ;Abdoul Karim ToureBee Koon PohEntomophagy has recently sparked widespread attention worldwide. Although entomophagy is not a foreign dietary practice in Malaysia, acceptance of insects as food among Malaysians is still unclear. This study aimed to determine the acceptance of insects as food and its influencing factors among adults living in Klang Valley (Peninsular Malaysia) and Kuching, Sarawak (East Malaysia). A cross-sectional survey was conducted involving 292 adults from Klang Valley (n = 144) and Kuching (n = 148). Data was collected through self-administrated online questionnaires. Although most respondents (96.7%) had prior knowledge of people eating insects, only 30.1% of respondents accepted insects as food, and only 18.2% reported that they would be willing to include insects in their daily diet. There was no statistically significant difference in acceptance rates between Klang Valley and Kuching. The main factors influencing respondents’ acceptance of insects as food were insect texture, food safety issues and aversion toward insects. In conclusion, the acceptance of insects as food among adults in Klang Valley and Kuching is still low, with sensory characteristics, food safety and sentiments of distaste being the main barriers. Future studies involving insect tasting and in-depth focus group discussion are needed for deeper insights into the acceptance of insects as food. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Haiwan dan Ternakan dalam Quran Statistik dan Objektif Penyebutan(USIM Press, 2020-12) ;Adnan Mohamed YusoffAbdoul Karim ToureAnimals and livestock are part of the main phenomenon of the Quran which highlights its intimacy with nature and human life. Names, types, properties, stories or matters that are related to animals and livestock appear specifically, scientifically and strategically in the Quran. This phenomenon attracts researchers to observe this emerging trend from a statistical point of view including the type of animal, frequency and place of emergence, as well as the objective of its mention either in actual form or as a metaphor. Thus, this study aims to identify the name or type of animal that has been selected to be immortalised in this Holy Book, the frequency and condition of its appearance, and subsequently the objective of its mention in the verse or surah. This is very important as basic data which will pave the way to a more advanced study in highlighting the majesty and miracles of the Quran in various dimensions that are related to natural resources. Correspondingly, this is a library study that is based on research on the text, especially the books of authentic interpretation, contemporary tafsir studies, the Ulum Quran, scientific journals, and other related texts. Among the important findings of the study is that animals and livestock are not a side element that comes to complete the beauty of the Quranic word or metaphor, or the physical design framework of its arrangement alone, for the presence of each of these animals or livestock is to carry the mission and certain objectives that cannot be played by other components in it. This study also paves the way for various further studies that can be explored by interested researchers, as well as in tadabbur activities that successfully attract the interest of today's society to get closer to the Quran. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

It is with this power of sense that human beings are raised in status and position above all other animals.. However, Qur’ān addresses its significance in relation to human beings and building of their characters. Sūratul-Baqarah is one of the chapters of the Qur’ān that discusses that. Out of these senses; hearings and sights or visual and audio are very significant that are worthy of study in this paper. It suggests that, apart from old age that can cause damage to the brain, wrong characters to include rebellion to instructions of Allah usually lead to its dysfunction. According to the SūratulBaqarah, the combination of the two sensitive organs of hearing and seeing helps greatly in grasp knowledge and characters building. It takes some measures and methods to deliver and convey its messages to the word, e.g. qissah (story), qasam (oath), hathal (proverbs), hiwār (communication), Jadal/Muhājjah (argumentation) inclusive. However, out of these Qur’ānic methods, only argumentation (jadal/muhājjah) remains controversial that some scholars and writers have bias mind with. Some talk about its prohibition in the two major sources of sharī'ah, Qur’ān and Sunnah. Publication An Overview Of Muhajjat (Argumentation) Of The Holy Quran With Ahlul-kitab In Relation To The Articles Of Faith(Kiban Research publications, 2014) ;Muhammad kamal-deen bello ;Abdoul Karim ToureAdnan bin mohamed yusoffMuhajjah or hijaj (argumentation) is one of the numerous methods that the Quran embarks upon to convey and disperse its mission. It is used basically to tackle the people of the Book and iron out some issues that the three religions; Jewish, Christianity and Islam differ on, in a way of evidencing and presentation of view, fact and points or proofs. That is, Muuhajjah is meant for presentation of evidence(s) and is not for quarrel, conflict and disagreement, as assumed by some writers. Hence, it should be launched here that, argument (Muhajjah) is not an irritating and forbidden subject in Islam. The holy Quran enters into it severally to establish fact, especially with the people of the divine Scriptures to falsify their wrong notions and misconceptions about the messages of the last revelation, Qur'an. The typical example of this method of Muhajjah of the holy Qur'an with the people of the Scriptures is seen in the six articles of faith that are chosen as a case study. The six articles of faith that comprise belief in Allah, angels, prophets/messengers, divine Books, last Day of Judgment and destiny that this paper aims at expatiating and explaining the areas of difference over them between the three heavenly and monotheistic religions in light of the Qur'anic content, context and debate. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
