In this regard,this article aims to discuss the challenges of online KAFA learning management duringthe Covid-19 pandemic phase. This study is qualitative. The data was collected based on the interviews of 2 respondents from KafaIntegrationNahdhahAl Islam. Data analysis, on the other hand, is carried out by narrativeanalysisusingthe coding method. The results of this study show that there hasbeen a change in the implementation ofKAFA'sonlinelearningmanagementduring the Covid-19 Pandemic phase. Thechallenges includeinfrastructure, technological skills, finance as well as time and taskload. Therefore, all parties must play their respective roles in addressing the problem and ensuring that the learningsessions are more effective - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Maqasid Approach In Measuring Quality Of Life (QoL)(USIM Press, 2021-10) ;Husna Ahmad Khalid ;Siti Khadijah Ab Manan ;Rafeah Saidon ;Amiratul Munirah YahayaMohd Hafiz Abdul WahabStudies and discussion in measuring the quality of life (QoL) has been at the centre stage ever since people realize its importance for the wellness of mankind. It is even more important when the concept is associated with sustainable development goal (SDG). Some studies relate QoL with physical health, psychological health, social relationship and environment. Others associate it with authentic happiness that refers to the criteria of pleasant life, a good life, a meaningful life and balanced life. Nevertheless, what can be considered as a holistic QoL? Can it be confined to the material and physical wellness of the people? Could there be any different perspective in looking at the concept in a holistic view? This study would attempt to answer the above questions by deliberating the dimensions of QoL enshrined by the maqasid al-shariah (the objectives of shariah). External Desk Study is employed in getting the required information and data relating to the definition and measurement of QoL. Relevant literatures in the area are reviewed and analysed in coming up with the new dimensions of holistic QoL. In analyzing the data, deductive approach is used to come up with the list of indicators for every dimension of maqasid-based QoL. Finding of this study is expected to shed light in looking into a much broader dimension of QoL. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Measuring The Quality Of Life (QoL) Of Villagers In Pulau Tuba, Langkawi(USIM Press, 2023) ;Siti Khadijah Abd Manan ;Rafeah Saedon ;Amiratul Munirah YahayaMohd Hafiz Abd WahabHaving a good quality of life (QoL) is essential for a sustainable development of a community or society. In fact, the discussion on QoL has been at the centre stage ever since people realize its importance for the wellness of mankind. It is even more important when the concept is associated with sustainable development goal (SDG). Many believed that attaining QoL needs ample financial resources and physical amenities. Hence, living affluently with sufficient facilities and utilities can be considered as having good quality of life. What if the person is living with subsistence level of income and lack of facilities or amenities? What more if he is staying in a remote village of an island? Can he be considered as having poor quality of life? Or perhaps, is he having no life at all? This study would attempt to answer the above questions by investigating the quality of life of those villagers settling in Pulau Tuba, Langkawi. Quantitative study in the form of survey is employed in getting the required information and data relating to the QoL of the villagers. In analyzing the data, descriptive analysis is used to measure the dimensions of QoL of the villagers. This study findings indicate that enjoying good quality of life is beyond luxurious comfort and complete physical amenities. Finding of this study is expected to shed light in looking into a much broader dimension of QoL.
