The purpose of this paper is to investigate the state of creative spirituality on product development among students who participated in the Islamic Innovation Student Competition (i-REKA) 2017 at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). The study employed the quantitative approach through a survey instrument design. Data were collected using questionnaires, and the constructs used were developed from prior research and previously-tested for reliability. A total of 147 questionnaires were analysed from the respondents in this study. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the characteristics of the respondents, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, while the multivariate technique which was employed was regression. The findings revealed that significant relationships exist in the state of creative spirituality among students of the products development competition. These findings may provide a distinctive perspective on the concept of creative spirituality and product development, and its necessity in the Islamic educational system for the contemporary modern era.

Tolerance considered an essential element in the modern multicultural society. Empirical evidences confirmed that tolerance has a positive effect towards social stability and harmony. However, there is insufficient study on direct influence of ethnic and political tolerance on people voting decision. This study is conducted to explore the influence of ethnic and political tolerance on voters' choice. This survey study using self-administered questionnaire as a data collection technique. Data were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). 600 respondents were engaged in the survey using multistage cluster and random sampling techniques involving voters in three different parliamentary. Results revealed that level of education, party supported and ethnicity had a significant positive influence on voting behaviour. Ethnic tolerance had a significant relationship with voting behaviour, while political tolerance is not statistically significant. But both, ethnic tolerance and political tolerance had a significant positive correlational relationship. Therefore, it is apparent that ethnic and political tolerance has a considerable effect on of voting behaviour. Significances are varies which demographics ethnicities act as intercession factors. The current study filled the gap to the body of knowledge and allows countless implication where ethnic politics regards as the most imperative matter, and tolerance has progressively become Malaysia's national agenda in managing a multicultural society.

The objective of this paper is to revisit the concept of thinking and innovation in Islam from the examples shown by Muslim scholars. This article also highlights the significance and the need to apply the Muslim scholars model of Islamic thinking and innovation culture to the present day educational system. The study is descriptive in nature, showcasing the scholarly contributions of great Muslim men from the past, as well as the opinions of contemporary scholars of Islam on thinking and innovation. This preliminary paper may provide a distinctive perspective on the concept of thinking and innovation and its necessity in the contemporary Islamic educational system. It should also be considered as a crucial tool to be mastered by youngsters during the present age in the era of science and technology.

Postmodern ethical thought is not in line with Islamic spiritual ethics as modernism and postmodernism are Western ideas that have no place in Islam. This library study briefly elaborates the history of ethical development in the Islamic world and the spiritual ethics from the Islamic perspective. It also surveys the thought of postmodernism as well as postmodernism and religion as they need some deliberation for the interrelation between religion and ethics. As far as spiritual ethical thoughts are concerned, a discourse of the postmodernist ethical thought is given an emphasis to comprehend the ethical thought of postmodern supporters. An understanding of the ethos draws us to a conclusion that reconciliation between postmodernist ethical thought and Islamic spiritual ethics is impossible.

Kreativiti merupakan kebolehan semulajadi untuk menghasilkan idea dan kemungkinan yang baharu dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Ia merupakan kemahiran penting yang perlu dipraktikkan dan diasah menerusi pelbagai teknik dan kaedah yang tertentu. Usaha yang berkaitan perlu dilakukan supaya dapat melahirkan generasi yang kreatif ke arah amalan pembangunan insan yang berlandarkan kreativiti. Penerapan kemahiran kritis dan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah merupakan pendekatan pengajaran yang penting yang perlu diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum institusi pendidikan tinggi. Pelajar yang mampu berfikir secara kritis dan mampu menyelesaikan masalah merupakan kunci kepada arus perubahan dan kemajuan individu dalam kehidupan semasa bergelar mahasiswa dan juga setelah tamat pengajian. Kemahiran ini penting bagi memastikan pelajar memiliki pemikiran tahap tinggi yang diperlukan bagi menghadapi persaingan global. Penerapan kemahiran ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pendekatan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang bertujuan bukan sekadar menghasilkan pelajar yang cemerlang dari segi akademik, malah juga cemerlang dari sudut akhlak dan emosi.

This paper is a preliminary study on the concept of Islamic creative thinking through the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). This study is aimed to reassess the creativity of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) specially in political and statesmen point of view. This study also aimed to highlight his creativity in diplomacy, conflict resolution and international affairs. The study employed qualitative method with content analysis approach by evaluating on necessary and relevant reports, articles and texts. It is hoped that this preliminary paper will provide a distinctive perspective on the concept of creativity and innovation and its necessity in contemporary Islamic political approach which should be considered as an important characteristics for both modern Islamic and western worlds.
