These issues will be presented from the point of view of the orientalists who had special approaches in this regard and evaluated with a historical criticism. Orientalists have formed a solid objective research, as they claimed, by referring to Sunnis reliable resources which it draws important details after placing them in historical contexts that reflect the development of Islamic legislation and the codification of the Prophet’s Sunnah. The researcher adapted the descriptive approach as a general way to indicate the importance and problematic of the research and used the historical approach in evaluating the reality of the Western theories, finally the critical analysis approach was decisive in refuting Western opinions. Among the findings of the research was: there was a fundamental differences in terms of methodology and content between the Orientalist criticism and others of the same issues related to Ummul Mu’minin, Saidah Aisha, due to their adoption of reliable sources and modern reference; Orientalist criticism is free of fanaticism and blind hatred, focusing on modern and jurisprudential issues instead of defaming the morals and political intentions of Ummul Mu’minin, Saidah Aisha; Loading historical texts more than they can bear in terms of the results presented by orientalists about the development of Islamic legislation as a context inherent to the views of Ummul Mu’minin, Saidah Aisha; their fallacy of linking between fabricating Hadiths and the delay in Hadith codification and the political complications which Ummul Mu’minin, Saidah Aisha was an active part in; and finally separate the political events from its religious ethics and roots, and present it in a pragmatic way denying the religious principles and spirit . - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Orientalists' Criticism Of Saida Aisha's Marriage: Analytical Study Of Hadith Narrations(USIM Press, 2023) ;Md.KamruzzamanAbdulrahman Hussein ObeidThis Article presenting the divergent orientalists’ opinions, that were not indicated in most cases by reliable historical texts, about the ages of Saida Aisha when she got married to the Prophet. They have noticed the scarcity of information about the childhood of Saida Aisha and if her childhood was shrouded in mystery, then how could it be possible to confirm her early marriage. This research adapted the descriptive approach by collecting contradicted evidence of debaters and analyzing them in the light of Hadiths data related to the subject. The researchers concluded that reconsidering the age of Saida Aisha is necessary since the clear indications to her age in al-Bukhari and other canonical books of prophetic traditions are not prophetic statements but historical records of the companions and individual matters. Her sister Asma’ was 10 years older, and she was 27 years when they migrated to Yathrib which means Saida Aisha was 17 when they migrated! According to this historical account the age of Saida Aisha when got married was around nineteen.
