Publication Ethical Disposal Of Mashaf Al-quran Damaged By Flood Disaster In Malaysia(Human Resource Management Academic Research Society, 2022) ;Latifah Abdul Majid ;Mohd Faizulamri Mohd Saad ;Hamdi Ishak ;Nasir Abdul MajidAmeer Areff Iskandar Mohd AzharFlood disasters occur frequently in Malaysia, either unexpectedly or in stages, depending on the scale of river water level readings. This phenomenon had a severe impact on ecosystems and public settlements, resulting in increased losses and property damage. The post-flood situation this time revealed a bad situation with all the trash, property, vehicles, and especially the mashaf of the Quran and religious books that also drifted as a result of the flood. Therefore, this damaged mashaf must be disposed of as soon as possible. However, some parties attempt to dispose of the property without the supervision of the authorities. In fact, some people simply toss it in the garbage. Such possession is regarded as disrespectful to the holy words of the Quran and may result in insults to Allah's words. The purpose of this article is to discuss the methods and procedure of disposing Quranic text, according to the Islamic perspective and its management of disposal in the aftermath of the flood. Research methodology is through method of interview with the Mufti (an Islamic jurist qualified to issue a nonbinding opinion (fatwa) on a point of Islamic law) and Islamic religious department officers, also observation at a disposal centre at Bukit Beruntung. Research data was descriptively analyzed. Research results demonstrates that the disposal process of mashaf al-Quran applied two methods, namely burning and burying to save time and space for stacking and overcome problems in disposal. However, according to the study's findings, damaged Quran mashaf must be disposed of by a licenced authority body under the supervision of the State Islamic Religious Department. Furthermore, the mashaf of the Quran and wet Islamic publications must be dried before burning so that the material can be burned faster until it becomes fine ash. The Quran's ashes will then be dumped into flowing areas, such as the sea. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, many attempts have been made to protect the purity of the Quran, and these efforts have been passed down through the generations. Recently, some people have attempted to dispose of Quranic material by burning it, despite the fact that this is against the rules. However, this might result in errors in the disposition of the Quran, uncertainty among the Muslim community, and even scorn for the sanctity of the Quran, depending on the circumstances. This is a problem that needs to be addressed by all people involved in order for it to be resolved as a group. As a result, in order to avoid any deviation from the current and current fatwa regarding the disposal of the Quranic text and the publication of the Quran, the techniques and procedures used must be in accordance with the current and current fatwa. With the help of Islamic perspectives and rules, and in accordance with the current fatwa, this article seeks to examine several disposition ways for the Quran and its material, as well as the methods of disposition for the Quran. This research also addresses the challenges that arise while dealing with the disposal of Quranic material. This research approach makes use of document analysis methods on appropriate library resources to gather information. The findings and discussion of the study were described in detail in the descriptive analysis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Recently, there have been cases of al-Quran mushaf disposal management that do not comply with the maqasid of al-Quran text disposal as stipulated in established guidelines. Furthermore, the number of damaged al-Quran manuscripts is growing, making the collection site increasingly limited in capacity. To save money and space, it was discovered that some institutions in charge of disposal have delegated this task to unauthorized parties, such as non-Muslim parties, which disposed of al-Quran text at paper mills. Therefore, this article discusses the perspectives and evaluations of religious scholars on the methods used by Malaysian institutions to dispose of al-Quran text. Document analysis and interviews with the State Muftis of Selangor, Kelantan and Terengganu were used to collect data. It was done through semi-structured interviews and descriptive analysis. According to findings, the Malaysian government has implemented several methods. One method used is to burn it to ashes, bury it, and then wash it into the sea. Many authorised institutions carry out disposal in accordance with the established guidelines. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
