In this modern era, a concern was raised over the halal status of blood plasma that is widely used especially in the food industry. The objective of this study was to investigate the usefulness, advantages and disadvantages of the blood plasma as well as the views of Islamic scholars on this issue. The study was conducted using descriptive literature review. The study found that blood plasma has the ability to dissolve and high emulsifying, low viscosity and the ability to form a strong gel. Besides, it can improve the texture and be a binder in the production of modern food. It is a cheap alternative protein as fat substitute to be use in the production of low-fat meat products. Despite of the fact, the study found blood plasma contains various microorganisms and potentially harmful products of toxins and blood protein. In fact, products containing blood plasma is likely to cause allergy-induced protein content of blood. Now, there are a variety of detection methods that can be used to detect blood plasma in order to determine the halal status of food. There are two views regarding the legal use of blood plasma, first, the use of blood plasma in food products are allowed if it had a perfect process of changes, istihalah. Meanwhile a second opinion, to ban the blood plasma products as it has undergone an imperfect process of change, (istihalah fasidah) which results in the end material categorized as Haram. Therefore, law determination (Hukum) of istihalah in the production of blood plasma must meet the requirements of Islamic law while ensuring that the relevant legal issue is not outdated.20 62 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

These three aspects should be given serious attention and be handled wisely so as to maintain and preserve Malaysia’s status as a majority Muslim country. As regards the selection of the medicine or pharmaceutical material, there is a lingerring doubt concerning the status of the medicine given to patient whether it is halal (permissible) or haram (impermissible). For instance, the medicine for allergy Red Tab Claritin and Ultratab Allergy Tablet Benadryl contain materials that originate from pig and cow. Meanwhile, there are numerous complaints from female patients especially, during labour hours in the delivery hall handaled by male doctors. Some of them don’t feel easy and confortable with the birth procedure being conducted by male doctors. Publication Haram sources in food processing according to shariah perspective(IAEME Publication, 2018) ;Mohd Kashim M.I.A. ;Mat Zain M.N. ;Ahmad M.Y. ;Jamsari E.A. ;Mat Zin D.M. ;PERMATA Insan College ;Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM)Islam lays down clear guidelines and legal principles concerning the legality of materials from haram sources, whether from animal or unclean sources. This article studies the legality of using unclean material in the making of foods based on the views of the four madhhab (schools of jurisprudence). The views of the jurists are analysed to ensure their practice is suitable for Malaysia. The qualitative research method used is more towards library research which involves data collection and analysis from shariah evidence as well as turath (original Arabic) books. The reason is that jurists differ in their views on the issue of modification or transformation of unclean material in food products. Hence, this article discusses the grounds for fiqh views relating to foods made from haram and unclean sources. It is necessary to note that the Shafii and Hanbali madhhab are stricter on this issue. Their opinion is that the legal status of any product may only be ascertained from the beginning stage of its process. If it is the resulting product from halal materials, then the end product is halal. But if it is made of unclean material and haram from the beginning, then the end product is also haram. On the other hand, the Maliki and Hanafi madhhab are quite lenient in determining the legality of this issue. A food product is not considered as unclean if its original properties have changed or transformed into new properties. Even so, the two views are agreed on prohibition of all new products which are harmful and disadvantageous to humans whether directly or otherwise. Discussion of results finds that the views of the Hanafi and Maliki madhhab are easier to apply in ascertaining the legal status of products for external consumers at the global level, while the views of the Shafii and Hanbali madhhab are safer to be practised in Malaysia, as the fatwa institution applies Shafii princples and practice, particularly to current dietary issues. IAEME Publication.18 9 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Interpretation of quranic verse 36:36 and human genome project (HGP) data: An analytical review based on science tawhidic concept(Innovare Academics Sciences Pvt. Ltd, 2020) ;Mohd Noor A.Y. ;Ab Rahman Z. ;Mohd Kashim M.I.A. ;Mohammed Zabidi A.F.Mohd Mokhtar A.The mechanisms by which biological males and females have been created in a precise speciesspecific design have always challenged the human minds. It has been mentioned in the Qur'an that male and female creations reflect a special sign from Allah for mankind to ponder over it. In contrast, using the recently completed HGP data, more than two dozens of scientific theories have been advanced to propose possible mechanisms by which males and females could probably originate in the past. Besides, the meaning of verse 36:36 has also been supported by many Quranic verses, including 2:164, 4:1, 7:189, 13:3, 16:8, 16:72, 30:20-21, 39:6, 42:11, 43:12, 45:4, 51:49, 53:45-46, 75:39, 78:8, and 92:3. This article aims to integrate between scientific and Quranic interpretation as well as to provide a better understanding of verse 36:36 when compared with the traditional exegesis approach. This study undertakes an analysis of scholars' view, promote intellectual discourse and scientific data as the main sources of reference by adopting the document analysis method. This analysis may, thus, serve as an example for those academicians who would like to Islamize their science curriculum or viceversa. The outcome of this article suggests that the evolution and continuity of sexual reproduction does not fit in nature; another theory predicts an extinction of the human males in future. Despite these, the male-female system prevails and, therefore, the origin and continuity of sex remain to be a great puzzle in today's science. The limitations of scientific theories, on the other hand, strengthen the Quranic verse 36:36 that states that, "Glory be to Him, who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not." The powerful beginning word, "Glory be to Him" becomes more meaningful when the grandeur-scale complexities of male-females' creations are understood scientifically using the findings from HGP and other available data. 2020 Innovare Academics Sciences Pvt. The reason is that ketum juice has been abused for the wrong purpose such as for getting high or stoned and intoxicated. Nevertheless, it cannot be denied that ketum juice has its own benefits for treating weak bodies as practised by people in the olden days. In addition, past society also used ketum leaves as a basic ingredient in traditional medicine. For that reason, scholars presently differ in their views to determine the legal status of ketum juice. Thus, in order to determine the legality of ketum juice, whether halal, haram, mubah or makruh, a study was conducted to study the good and bad of ketum juice from the scientific perspective. The research methodology used are document and content analysis. Research results find that ketum juice has benefits for humans. The benefits in using ketum leaves outweigh the disadvantages. Ketum leaves can be the alternative treatment for certain diseases followed up by doctors’ prescribed medication. The bad of ketum leaves are caused by a group of people who mix ketum juice with prohibited substances so as to cause getting high or stoned and intoxication. In that regard, scholars are of the opinion that it is permitted (mubah) to take ketum juice if it is not mixed with prohibited substances and is for treatment and not other purposes. If ketum juice is mixed with unclean sources, then its status changes from permitted (mubah) to forbidden (haram). © IAEME Publication.8 80 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
