Rational emotive behavior therapy and person-centered therapy are two of the most popular theories currently used in the counselling profession. However, they are two distinctly different theories, so this article attempts to make a thorough comparison between the theories especially with regards to the use of counselling techniques and the strengths/weaknesses of each theory.
