Publication Conceptual Framework On The Adoption Of Online Media For Fatwa Information Among Malaysian Muslims(Human Resource Management Academic Research Society, 2022) ;Mohd Harifadilah Rosidi ;Ahmad Wifaq Bin MokhtarMohd Nasir Bin Abdul MajidOnline media is one of the best platforms for disseminating information to the public quickly and effectively. Despite many initiatives taken by the Fatwa Institution to enhance the dissemination and explanation of Fatwa, including using online media, it is undeniable that the level of fatwa acceptance among Malaysian Muslims is still low. Thus, this study aims to discuss the plausible factors that influence the adoption of online media as a platform for fatwa information among Malaysian Muslims. A conceptual framework of UTAUT2 behavioural factors with three additional factors: the Fatwa awareness, Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah and religiosity is proposed. This article contributes to the body of knowledge and practice by offering insights into the factors that may influence the adoption of online media as a platform for fatwa information. That can assist the Fatwa Institutions in enhancing the efficiency of Fatwa’s dissemination and explanation in a more quality and successful way for Fatwa to be accepted by the community. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Recently, there have been cases of al-Quran mushaf disposal management that do not comply with the maqasid of al-Quran text disposal as stipulated in established guidelines. Furthermore, the number of damaged al-Quran manuscripts is growing, making the collection site increasingly limited in capacity. To save money and space, it was discovered that some institutions in charge of disposal have delegated this task to unauthorized parties, such as non-Muslim parties, which disposed of al-Quran text at paper mills. Therefore, this article discusses the perspectives and evaluations of religious scholars on the methods used by Malaysian institutions to dispose of al-Quran text. Document analysis and interviews with the State Muftis of Selangor, Kelantan and Terengganu were used to collect data. It was done through semi-structured interviews and descriptive analysis. According to findings, the Malaysian government has implemented several methods. One method used is to burn it to ashes, bury it, and then wash it into the sea. Many authorised institutions carry out disposal in accordance with the established guidelines. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Penggunaan Media Dalam Talian Menurut Perspektif Maqāṣid Al-shari‘ah(Penerbit USIM, 2022) ;Mohd Harifadilah Bin Rosidi ;Ahmad Wifaq Bin MokhtarMohd Nasir Bin Abdul MajidPenggunaan media sosial yang meluas hari ini oleh kebanyakan individu pada pelbagai umur dan pekerjaan membawa banyak kebaikan yang tidak dapat dinafikan lagi. Walaubagaimanpun, jika disalahguna media sosial akan membawa kesan negatif terhadap sesebuah masyarakat. Kajian ini bertujuan menilai kebaikan dan keburukan media sosial dalam rangka Maqāṣid al-Shari‘ah. Hasil kajian mendapati lima prinsip penting (al-darūriyat al-khams) dalam Maqāṣid al-Shari‘ah, iaitu perlindungan terhadap agama (al-Din), nyawa (al-Nafs), akal (al-'Aql), keturunan (al-Nasl) dan harta (al-Māl) mampu menjadi panduan dalam penggunaan media sosial dan mengawal mudharat yang boleh dibawa oleh media sosial. Kajian ini mencadangkan supaya Maqāṣid al-Shari‘ah dijadikan panduan dalam membuat sesuatu dasar pengunaan teknologi. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Role Of Maqasid Al-shari’ah As A Fundamental Ethics In Social Media Use(Human Resource Management Academic Research Society, 2022) ;Mohd Harifadilah Rosidi ;Ahmad Wifaq Bin MokhtarMohd Nasir Bin Abdul MajidToday’s technological advancements have resulted in broad social media usage, ranging from youngsters to the elderly. The use of social media can bring both good and bad to society. Thus, social media and technology used must be controlled with ethics and moral principles. This study aims to look at the ability of Maqāṣid al-Shari’ah as a fundamental ethic in the use of social media. Five principle elements (al-Darūriyat al-Khams) in Maqāṣid al-Shari’ah, namely the protection of religion (al-Din), life (al-Nafs), intellect (al-’Aql), progeny (al-Nasl) and wealth (al-Māl) became the yardstick in the use of social media. This study found that Maqāṣid al-Shari’ah is very suitable to be the core of ethics in the use of social media because it can control the harm brought through social media. The study suggests that Maqāṣid alShari’ah be the primary ethical in using social media and made a factor in the study of acceptance and use of technology.
