In today's era of e-commerce, there are numerous advertising methods appearing at a very fast space, among them the use of viral videos. With the aim of introducing and marketing a product in addition to attracting attention and influencing users to purchase the product, the focal point of content production is now focused on videos that grab attention, entertain the viewer, and providing value for those consuming the content. Flooding of comments and engagement can cause a video to become viral, at the same time providing free brand awareness and promotion for the product. When left unchecked, such methods of content distribution may prove to be a double edged sword, if it was used to spread content that does not comply with the syariah. Thus, this study is crucial in order to establish a syariah-compliant guideline in the production of viral videos as a reference for budding entrepreneurs to market their products, produce valuable content, that is in line with the principles of Islam. In order to achieve this, several methodologies of Islamic Jurisprudence have been selected to be applied in constructing a comprehensive Syariah parameter in the context of content production. The qualitative study approach is applied in this work, using descriptive analysis based on literature highlights extracted from various articles and journals, produced by local and international authors. In a nutshell, results of this study recommends that a comprehensive and practical syaria parameter be used as a guideline in the production of viral videos in Malaysia so that the digital marketing industry in our country will be a safe and healthy environment, for the entrepreneurs and also the consumers, in line with the principles of syariah, which is in itself, to achieve such objectives.

Mankind was created and put on the face of this earth only to function as a caliph and to carry out the responsibilities established by his Creator, regardless of any type of situation. However, for individuals involved in a natural disaster, it is not a factor that prevents victims of natural disasters from abandoning their responsibility. Generally, natural disasters will impact individuals involved in the disaster from various aspects. The impact of natural disasters results in damage as well as loss of property and life. Islam, as a religion that always facilitates its followers so that a Muslim’s responsibilities can be carried out without burdening the individual. Therefore, this study aims to elaborate on acts of worship performed during natural disasters. The content analysis method was used to obtain data from journal articles, book chapters and conference papers, which were then descriptively analysed. Findings indicate that the impact of natural disasters poses difficulties for disaster victims and Islam allows a certain amount of relief so that the mandatory worship practice commanded by Allah SWT can be carried out.

Natural disasters, especially floods, are annual natural disasters that often affect Malaysia. A major concern for residents who live in flood-affected areas is the unpredictable occurrence of these floods. A temporary evacuation centre provides protection and accommodation for residents whose homes are flooded. As the number of houses inundated by flood water increases, so does the number of people who are moved to temporary evacuation centres. Previous studies have discussed the elements of unsatisfactory infrastructure facilities and the impact of a high number of flood victims in a temporary evacuation centre. The majority of flood-affected evacuees in these centres are Muslims and they are obligated to carry out Allah SWT's commandments regardless of where they are. The surrounding conditions at the evacuation centre differ from that of a home, which affect the implementation of Allah SWT's commandments in the temporary evacuation centre. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the level of understanding of several Syariah issues, such as taharah, performing prayers and safeguarding one’s aurat as well as socialising, among flood victims in temporary evacuation centres in Malaysia. This study adopted a quantitative design by distributing questionnaires to 400 flood victims residing in 19 temporary evacuation centres around the Seri Medan village in Batu Pahat. Findings indicated that flood victims in temporary evacuation centres around the Seri Medan village in Batu Pahat had a high level of understanding of Syariah issues.
