In the globalization era of Education 4.0, developing global awareness about the importance of learning a foreign language in secondary school is essential. The Japanese language has become a more widely recognized language that has been taught in secondary schools. Therefore, this study has been done to determine whether students at PERMATA Insan College have learned the Japanese language. This study was conducted through a survey of PERMATA Insan College from the age of 13 until 17 years old. As a result, most students are familiar to the Japanese language. It can be concluded that students at PERMATA Insan College have learned the Japanese language throughout their schooling.
