Publication Effects of Employees Support on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Among Public Employees: Job Satisfaction as Mediator(Penerbit USIM, 2023) ;Umi HamidatonNor Azima AhmadThe purpose of the study is to assess the relationship between employee support, organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction. A cross-sectional research design is employed to gather data from employees who work in Malaysian public sector. The SmartPLS program is used to assess the quality of the measurement model and test hypotheses for the study models. The outcomes of the findings reveal four major findings; first, employees support positively related to organizational citizenship behavior. Second, employee support positively related to job satisfaction. Third, job satisfaction is positively related to organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, job satisfaction acts a mediator in between employee support and organizational citizenship behavior. This finding provides essential recommendations to be used by practitioners to improve organizational policies regarding employee support to ensure a balanced socioeconomics in the organization. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Nowadays, zakat institution became as a central role in many aspects of human life especially among Muslim communities, also function in maintaining the existence and growth of socio-economic. Due to this reason, good governance with the vital elements of leadership and communication are an important element that may affect service quality performance in organization. The capability of employees to appropriately manage leadership and communication practice may lead to a greater level of quality performance towards customers. This research aims to measure the correlation between good governance practice through leadership, communication, and service quality in zakat institution. A cross-sectional technique was employed to collect primary data from 250 respondents who were customer at the zakat institution in Klang Valley. The Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was used in data analyses. The outcomes displayed two important findings: First, the relationship between leadership practice and service quality performance was significant. Second, the relationship between communication practice and service quality performance was significant. Statistically, this result confirms that service quality performance directly enhanced by good governance practice through leadership and communication in studied organization. Further, this research concludes with a discussion on the contributions, limitation. For future research may focus on other elements of construct such as integrity practice to enhance service quality in zakat institution. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

It is important that employees can count on the support of their colleagues, as this facilitates their functioning and coping with work demands, because the employee is one of the most valuable assets in an organization. Co-worker support plays an important role in the organization because an employee must cooperate and build a good teamwork with a colleague in order to achieve positive behavior among employees. Therefore, this study examines the relationship between co-worker support and employee behavior from an Islamic perspective as previous research has shown, co-worker support could have a significant impact on employee behavior in the workplace. In this study, a cross-sectional method was used. Data from 300 respondents working as government employees in Peninsular Malaysia were randomly collected and the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was used to assess the quality of the measurement model and test the hypotheses for the study model. The results of the structural equation model confirm that co-worker support is positively related to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. This result is an important recommendation for organization to understand the nature of employees and ensure the sustainability of the company in times of global economic competition. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Peranan Institusi Keluarga (ibu Bapa) Semasa Pandemik Terhadap Pencapaian Akademik Dan Kesejahteraan Psikologi Pelajar(Center of Core Studies USIM, 2023) ;Umi Hamidaton Mohd Soffian Lee ;Nor Azima Ahmad ;Norsyella Ahmad TarmiziNurshahira IbrahimPada tahun 2022 Malaysia melangkah ke fasa endemik setelah hampir dua tahun masyarakat berdepan dengan pelbagai implikasi akibat pandemik Covid-19. Peralihan fasa menjadi permulaan baharu buat Keluarga Malaysia khususnya golongan pelajar yang berhadapan dengan cabaran besar perlu mengadaptasi norma baharu terutama dalam kalangan berpendapatan sederhana dan rendah. Peralihan drastik ini telah menyumbang kepada perubahan kesejahteraan psikologi dan pencapaian akademik melibatkan sebilangan pelajar di negara ini. Bagi memastikan kejayaan institusi ini, kedua-dua belah pihak iaitu ibu dan bapa seharusnya memainkan peranan yang sama penting terutama melibatkan perkembangan dalaman dan luaran pelajar. Justeru, kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti peranan institusi keluarga terhadap perkembangan pencapaian akademik dan kesejahteraan psikologi setelah berakhirnya pandemik Covid-19. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif melalui kaedah kajian perpustakaan yang melibatkan analisis kandungan melibatkan proses mengumpul dan menyatukan data dari sumber sekunder seperti jurnal, majalah, surat khabar, buletin dan pautan lama web. Kaedah ini memfokuskan kepada pemahaman terhadap peranan dan fungsi institusi keluarga, pencapaian akademik dan kesejahteraan psikologi dalam kalangan pelajar. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bagaimana peranan institusi keluarga berperanan mempengaruhi pembentukan pencapaian akademik pelajar dan kesejahteraan psikologi. Tuntasnya, kajian ini akan menjadi satu platform dan sumber rujukan baru khususnya dalam usaha mengenalpasti peranan institusi keluarga. Ia memfokuskan kepada peranan ibu bapa terhadap perkembangan dan masa depan pelajar melibatkan aspek pendidikan dan psikologi. Tambahan lagi, pelajar merupakan perintis masa depan negara di masa akan datang. Ia sejajar dengan dengan matlamat Deklarasi Keluarga yang menjadi sebahagian agenda nasional supaya semua pihak meletakkan kepentingan keluarga sebagai keutamaan dalam segala perancangan dan tindakan. Publication Relationship Between Distributive Justice And Organization Commitment: Job Satisfaction As Mediator Among Public Employees In Malaysia.(Human Resource Management Academic Research Society, 2022) ;Nor Azima Ahmad ;Umi Hamidaton Mohd Soffian LeeSiti Salwa SalimDistributive justice is often viewed as a key factor in the retention of an employee in an organization. Rapid economic development and aging population have considerably increased the demand of high-quality employees’ performance to fulfill organizations’ needs. Studies have revealed that dissatisfaction with the fairness of distribution such as pay scales, rewards and benefits provided by the organization causes employees to lose motivation to perform work with full commitment. Thus, this study was conducted to examine the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable between distributive justice and organizational commitment. This study used a cross-sectional study method to collect data. Primary data were obtained through a questionnaire completed by 114 public servants of government agencies in Peninsular Malaysia. The data obtained were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.3 software to test the research hypotheses. The results of SmartPLS path model analysis showed three significant findings: first, distributive justice has a significant relationship with job satisfaction. Second, distributive justice has a significant relationship with organizational commitment. Third, job satisfaction acts as a mediating variable between organizational fairness and organizational commitment. The implications of the study and discussion are described further.
