Publication Adapting A Design And Development Research (ddr) Approach In Designing The Mobile Application Model For Tarannum Subject(Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia Publisher’s, 2022) ;Nurul Auji Hasbullah ;Norasikin Fabil ;Adnan Mohamed YusoffAhmad Sanusi AzmiThis study aims to develop a model of mobile application for Tarannum subject. The development of mobile application model was for KKQ (Kelas Khas Kemahiran Membaca dan Menghafaz al-Qur’an) Tarannum subject towards highlighting the meaning-based concept in the model developed. To achieve this goal, the design and development research (DDR) were applied in accordance with the procedure of three phases as systematic process in conducting the research which respectively are analysis phase, design and development phase, and evaluation phase. The design and development research approach is currently widely used in educational research to test theory and validate a study empirically. This approach is also known as developmental research or development research, which is used in this study to design and develop a model systematically in a practical way. According to the result of this study, the main components of meaning-based Tarannum mobile app model designed for KKQ class are Tarannum types, Tarannum variation (harakat), Qur’anic chapters in audio version and text version, additional features which are the Tarannum practice and video of Tarannum, and multimedia elements which are text, audio, video, graphic and animation. The meaning-based concept was included in this model to be applied into the Tarannum recitation as users may understand the meaning of the verses. At the same time, users can feel and internalise (tadabbur) with the Qur’an recitation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Pendekatan kajian ini berbentuk kajian kualitatif, di mana metodologi kajian yang digunakan di dalam penulisan ini adalah pendekatan analisis kandungan dan juga temubual ringkas(temubual tidak berstruktur). Rujukan utama bagi pendekatan yang digunakan adalah daripada buku Tarannum al-Qur’an dan juga artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan ilmu Tarannum al-Qur’an. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat persamaan dan perbezaan pendapat antara dua karangan buku Tarannum di Malaysia berkenaan dengan sifat bagi setiap Tarannum. Kemudian, kajian ini menganalisis unsuriaitu sifat-sifat bagi setiap Tarannum tersebutbersama pakardan hasil daripada analisis kandungan, unsur-unsur tersebut di susun dan di masukkan ke dalam jadual di bahagian dapatan kajian. Tinjauan awal dilakukan dengan menemubual ringkas qari-qari berkenaan dengan kaedah atau teknik bacaan Tarannum yang di amalkan. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa bacaan Tarannum yang di amalkan oleh qari-qari di Malaysia adalah berasaskan kepada lagu-lagu Tarannum dan tidak menekankan kepada makna ayat al-Qur’anatas beberapa faktor. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Software quality has emerged as pivotal aspects of any software development process. Quality of software depends on the process followed during its development. Software quality is having multi-dimensional content which may be distinguished and measured easily. To be specific, with the idea of determining the multidimensional content in a more exact pattern various qualitative models have been presented by virtue of which different aspects of this matter have been attempted to be investigated properly. Quality is considered a crucial issue for education in general, and for e-learning in particular. Factors affecting the quality of software are identified from among the quality models, on the basis of the most common, crucial and critical ones. These quality characteristics could be used to reflect the quality of the software product from the view of the users. Publication Design And Development Of Meaning-based Tarannum Mobile Apps Model: A Prototype Model For Kelas Khas Kemahiran Membaca Dan Menghafaz Al-qur’an (KKQ)(JF Publisher, 2022) ;Nurul Auji Hasbullah ;Norasikin Fabil ;Adnan Mohamed YusoffAhmad Sanusi AzmiThe purpose of this paper is to figure out the components and elements for the model thus to design and develop a prototype model of KKQ meaning-based Tarannum mobile app. This study employed document analysis whereby research on ten existing Tarannum mobile apps in Google Play Store market to find out those components and elements. From document analysis, matrix analysis is used to analyse what are the components and elements that have in the existing Tarannum mobile apps to be embedded into the prototype model. The findings were analysed in thematic analysis whereby this paper explains each of the components and elements into themes. The finding shows that the main elements of the model are (1) Tarannum types which consist of seven types of Tarannum (i.e Bayyati, Nahawand, Rast, Hijaz, Soba, Sikah and Jiharkah), (2) Tarannum variation (Harakat), (3) Surah; with the audio or text or both of the surah (4) Tausyikh; that have the audio or text or both of tausyikh, (5) additional features (Tarannum practice, Adzan, Video of Tarannum), and (6) multimedia elements (text, audio, graphics, and video). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Development Of A New Application For Multimedia Learning With Animation Exaggeration Based On Addie Model(The Australian Research Council (ARC), 2017) ;Nor Hasbiah Ubaidullah ;Aizu Khalili ZohediNorasikin FabilSeveral studies have shown that a majority of students have problems in learning the topic of integers of the Form One Mathematics. This study was carried out to develop and testing a multimedia learning application with the principles of animation exaggeration on students’ achievement. The experimental study was based on the pre-test postest control group design involving two experimental groups and one control group. The development of the multimedia learning application was based on the ADDIE model. The main data were the mean scores of the pre-test and posttest measurements, and an interview. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was carried out showing that the group that used the multimedia learning application with the principles of animation exaggeration outperformed the other two groups. This result suggests that exaggeration principles can be used in the development of multimedia learning tools to help students learn mathematics, especially for topics with abstract concepts. SIS have been widely studied focusing on factors that influences the intention to use and adopt, and the performance of information systems but limited in system quality. Since system quality is essential to encourage user to have the “intention to use” of SIS and bring toward the successful of SIS implementation, the study on influences factors of system quality is an important. This paper aims to identify the factors of system quality, investigate the relationship of intention to use between the system’s quality and user’s satisfaction of SIS. This quantitative study is based on purposive sampling method and uses questionnaire to collect randomly data from 275 postgraduate students in a selected university. Eight (8) relevant factors has been identified from the reviewing the literature. The result shows that intention to use has relationship between system’s quality and user’s satisfaction as output of SIS and affect the frequent users’ level of satisfaction. This study proposes a model of intention to use of SIS that recommend the developers of SIS to give special attention to the development process and focus on the dimensions of SIS quality to enhance the level of usage SIS and particularly influence on user's satisfaction in educational institutions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Motivation Elements in Game-based Learning (GBL) for Tajweed Learning(Semarak Ilmu Publishing, 2024) ;Nadiah Ramlan ;Norasikin FabilZawawi IsmailTajweed is a Quranic knowledge, and it is essential to provide a Quranic generation that is fluently and accurately reading the Quran. Unfortunately, previous studies depicted many students unable to read the Quran and indicated low achievement in Quranic subjects. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to create an interactive environment that can support the teaching and learning process, such as Game-Based Learning (GBL). GBL is a teaching aid that can be customized for teaching and learning and encourages students to be actively involved. Meanwhile, various factors are still being investigated in game design to ensure the success of GBL implementation, including motivational elements as an aspect of game design. Therefore, this study aims to identify the effect of GBL design on students' motivation in learning Tajweed. The game (i-Tajweed) deployed a Game Development Framework (GDF) and was tested using a quasi-experimental method on 120 students at primary schools by a purposive sampling method. The study used a set of questionnaires and a set of Tajweed Tests as the instruments for collecting data. The findings of the analysis revealed that the level of significance (0.000 < 0.05) value of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.310. The result suggests that there is a significant correlation between student's achievement and motivation. Hence, the result proves that using GBL with motivational elements in the design can increase student motivation positively. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

However, visualizing is not just about visual, it is even able to attract and provide high understanding to people, in particular, when searching for information in a knowledge domain. In the domain science of hadith, its progression and proliferation have started since the deputation of Prophet Muhammad SAW. The rise has formed a knowledge framework that includes systematic information presentation and access as an assurance to validate information delivered. Therefore, this study presents a new method to understand the domain science of hadith via information visualization. It discusses the development of the Visualization Model of the Domain Science of Hadith through four methodical phases that begin with information identification, followed by information acquisition and data restructuring, and finally with visualizing of the domain science of hadith. The model indicates clear understanding and depiction of the structure of the domain science of hadith and its connection to the knowledge in the domain itself, including narrators’ knowledge and linkage, citations system and hadith knowledge. Publication The Use of The ARCS Motivation Model on Special Needs Patients through Serious Games for Rehabilitation: A Systematic Review(USIM Press, 2021) ;Nur Nafishah Safian ;Waidah IsmailNorasikin FabilMotivation is one of the vital keys for special needs patients to feel sustain with their performances during rehabilitation therapies. as technology grows, serious games have become one of the assistive technology tools that used in rehabilitation field to help special needs patients to undergo their exercise. In this regard, the adaptation of special needs patients in using serious games for rehabilitation have attracted scholars to conduct number of relevant studies. Accordingly, a systematic review was conducted to identify the motivation attributes that influence special needs patients while playing serious games for rehabilitation. After the identification and screening processes, the use of the ARCS motivation model is to classify the motivation attributes into four main factors: attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. A total number of 29 motivation attributes have been found from the previous studies that vigorously important in determine the rehabilitation performance of special needs patients. Each motivation attribute which repeatedly used in the recent studies from the year of 2011 to 2019 has been grouped as one. As results, the mostly used attribute in the previous research is motivation. The essential of motivation in ensuring confidence level and satisfaction among special needs patients while undergoing rehabilitation therapies is very important and has been successfully proven on the results. In other words, the previous studies have shown a positive experience of special needs patients in gaining and sustaining their motivation through serious games for rehabilitation by using the ARCS model.
