Publication An Analysis Of Fintech Crowdfunding Among NGO-I(USIM Press, 2021-10) ;Mardhiyyah Sahri ;Mohammad Mahyuddin Khalid ;Norazlina MamatHanifah Musa Fathullah HarunCrowdfunding is an internet supported way to run businesses or raise money either in the form of donations or various investments from multiple individuals. This new form of fundraising technique has emerged since the wake of the 2008 financial crisis and its popularity has accelerated due to the impact of COVID 19 pandemic. With various constraints in obtaining financing from financial institutions, entrepreneurs started to look for capital generated from the other sources. The resources are still limited, but the Muslim crowdfunding ecosystem is diversifying from the most basic reward based to social lending, with an eye to the fintech. Using a quantitative research methodology, this paper uses secondary data research method to gain a broader understanding on the linkage between crowdfunding, fintech and NGO-I. This article firstly explores the current development of fintech usage for crowdfunding platform. This is followed by an analysis of the crowdfunding methods used by Islamic Non-Governmental Organization (NGO-I). Finally, it presents the Shariah governance aspect of fintech crowdfunding. This article encapsulates the potential of fintech in catalysing Islamic crowdfunding among Islamic Non-Governmental Organization (NGO-I) in Malaysia and the need for a Shariah governance framework for Islamic fintech. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

It is also can be considered as an alternative area to be explored especially in the current situation where the world is affected by the pandemic of COVID-19 globally. It justifies the need to research this topic to leverage its benefits to various perspectives including the asnaf community. Unfortunately, despite its importance, limited studies have been found were conducted on entrepreneurship in asnaf community. Therefore, this research is initiating research on this topic by conducting a systematic literature review of the published works on entrepreneurship among asnaf community to explore the trend of the existing research works. A PRISMA approach is adapted to collect the relevant literature that is scoped only to the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. The result obtained from this research found that there are 12 articles in total that have discussed on asnaf zakat entrepreneurship topic. A thorough thematic analysis conducted on the extracted articles has categorized the research into three major themes, namely, the asnaf behaviour and attitude, zakat institution governance, and effectiveness of the entrepreneurial program. Based on the discussion, future research on this topic that can propose a comprehensive zakat entrepreneurship model is required to ensure a better impact of the zakat entrepreneurship programs. Thus, this research can provide a relevant article extracted from SCOPUS and WoS for future reference on this topic. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Zakat is one of the tools used to help disadvantaged and impoverished people meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. By defining the critical factors, this study aims to investigate a multidimensional model that can be used in development programmes to meet the needs of rural asnaf entrepreneurs. This study uses a simple qualitative research design that includes data collection through library methods and descriptive analysis. The findings from previous studies were analysed to establish the concept and theme of the analysis. Finally, it is discovered that in order to turn an asnaf into a successful entrepreneur, all of the critical factors must be emphasised, especially in rural areas. As a result, a detailed model for the growth of rural asnaf entrepreneurship is proposed.
