Publication Analysis On The Contributions And Dedication Of Amrah Binti Abdul Rahman As A Muhaddithah In Seeking KnowledgeMuhaddithat refers to female hadith transmitters who were equally skilled as their male counterparts in narrating and transmitting hadith collections. Their invaluable contributions to the preservation and transmission of the Prophetic Hadith have been widely acknowledged, including by Western scholars. While previous discussions on Muhaddithat have been extensive, studies focusing on specific female scholars, such as Amrah binti Abdul Rahman, remain limited. This research aims to fill this gap by exploring Amrah’s biography, her intellectual journey, and her significant role as a Muhaddithah. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study analyses historical texts, biographical dictionaries, and hadith compilations to construct a comprehensive understanding of her life and contributions. The findings reveal Amrah’s exceptional dedication to seeking and disseminating knowledge, her scholarly influence, and her vital role in maintaining the authenticity of the Prophetic traditions. This study highlights the importance of recognizing female scholars like Amrah binti Abdul Rahman in Islamic intellectual history and their enduring legacy in the field of hadith studies. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Contribution of Aishah and Syifa in Narrating the Prophetic Hadith: A Comparative Analysis(Penerbit USIM, 2024) ;Nor Umairah Kamarudin ;Nur Izzah Mohd Shukri ;Nur Adriana RuzuazuraNur Saadah Hamisan @ KhairWomen during the Prophet’s time had a significant positive impact on society because they were individuals who were willing to contribute energy, particularly in the advancement of hadith knowledge. However, there is a failure to understand or acknowledge their important roles particularly among young generation because there are many figures that were falsely taken as the role model. Therefore, this study focuses on acknowledging the importance of two female figures who narrated hadiths which are Aisyah R.A and Syifa binti Abdullah by discovering their biographies and analysing their contributions in Islam. In the case of this study, qualitative research is applied because it requires library research and the use of Maktabah Syamilah to obtain information on hadith. In the research finding, this study provides an understanding that includes the following: (1) comprehending and delving into the biographies of women who have made significant contributions to hadith and (2) the ability to assess the comparative contribution of female figures to Islam in various fields. In conclusion, these women can serve as role models for young women, inspiring them to emulate qualities like perseverance in seeking knowledge, contributing expertise, discipline, and carrying out responsibilities.169 2
