Islam menggariskan panduan tentang batas pergaulan antara lelaki dan perempuan. Mereka perlu menjaga akhlak percintaan dan memiliki rasa malu untuk melakukan sesuatu yang tidak baik. Akhlak percintaan dan rasa malu menjaga pelakunya dari perbuatan-perbuatan yang tidak sesuai dengan ajaran agama, undang-undang atau adab masyarakat. Sampel yang terlibat dalam kajian ini adalah 260 pelajar dari dua Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam di Selangor dan Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk melihat samada terdapat hubungan antara akhlak percintaan dan rasa malu. Kaedah kajian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan Instrumen Akhlak Percintaan dan Inventori Emosi Moral Muslim. Seseorang yang menjaga akhlak dalam percintaan memiliki rasa malu yang tinggi. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara akhlak percintaan dan rasa malu. Implikasi kajian ini adalah berkaitan dengan pemahaman tentang akhlak percintaan dan rasa malu dari perspektif Islam amat relevan dalam menangani masalah sosial yang berakar dari salah faham tentang konsep cinta. Publication Financial Strain, Financial Management Practices, Marital Satisfaction and Marital Stability among Newlyweds(Accounting Research Institute (ARI), 2018) ;Joki Perdani Sawai ;Rumaya Juhari ;Rojanah Kahar ;Zanariah IsmailRezki Perdani SawaiMoney does matter especially in family life and it affects marital satisfaction and marital stability. The purposes of this study are to investigate the relationship between financial strain and financial management practices, and marital satisfaction and marital stability. 278 married individuals who were within 5 years of marriage were involved in this study. The In- Charge Financial Distress/Financial Well-Being (IFDFW) Scale, Financial Management Behavior Scale (FMBS), Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (KMSS) and Marital Instability Index (MII) were used for data collection. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation. The findings show that there was significant relationship between financial strain, financial management practices, marital satisfaction, marital stability, financial management practices and marital satisfaction. In sum, finance does play an important role in satisfaction and stability of a marriage. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Locus of Control, Marital Satisfaction and Marital Stability among Newlyweds(Universiti Malaysia Sabah, 2018) ;Joki Perdani Sawai ;Rumaya Juhari ;Rojanah Kahar ;Zanariah IsmailRezki Perdani SawaiThe present study examined the relationship between locus of control with marital satisfaction and marital stability in a sample of 278 newlyweds. Participants completed the Demographic Information Sheet, The Internality, Powerful Others, and Chance (IPC) Scale, Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (KMSS) and Marital Instability Index (MII). Correlation analysis was employed to assess relationships among the variables. Result indicated that there is a negative significant relationship between external locus of control and marital satisfaction, but there is no significant relationship between internal locus of control and marital satisfaction. Whereas, there is no significant relationship between both locus of control with marital stability. This study incongruent with past research and contributes to the new findings on locus of control.
