Publication Muslim attitude towards participation in cash WAQF: Antecedents and consequences(Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, 2017) ;Shukor S.A. ;Anwar I.F. ;Shukor S.A.Sabri H.Waqf creates great benefits not only for the endower but also for the whole society. Endowment of waqf is generally known in terms of porperty but little attention given to endowment of cash waqf. This paper aims to investigate antecedents and consequences of Muslim attitude towards participation in cash waqf in Malaysia. The findings of this paper are based on 386 samples. Descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis and regression analysis are used to analyse the data. The results indicate that individual religiosity, trust in awqaf institutions and convenience to endow are antecedents of Muslim attitude towards participation in cash waqf, which consequently leads to individual intention to participate in the practice. The study provides a useful source of information to related parties for instance the waqf institution and Islamic regulatory body in executing effective startegy to promote cash waqf as well as reinforcement of systematic collection procedures that can benefit the community. � 2017, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. This bank will benefit the students and also their parents, due to its unique structure that could finance student’s education in term of fees and cost of living. Islamic waqf bank use the concept of cash waqf in terms of funding the education. The gifted capital or cash waqf was “transferred” to borrowers for certain period, which was then spent for all sorts of pious and social purposes inclusive for the investment objectives. It is recognized that there is no ample study in the area of cash waqf especially for managing Islamic waqf bank institution. Therefore, the study for managing cash waqf fund through Islamic waqf bank is essential in order for the fund to be use efficiently. Publication Takaful protection for mental health illness from the perspective of Maqasid Shariah(Sciedu Press, 2020) ;Khairi K.F. ;Samat M.S.A. ;Laili N.H. ;Sabri H. ;Basah M.Y.A. ;Asmaddy HarisMirza A.A.I.Mental health illness becomes one of the major illnesses in Malaysia aside from heart disease. It was recently reported that 29.2% of Malaysians are suffering from mental health illness which increases threefold from the previous year. Majority of the Malaysians suffering from mental health illness comes from the lowest income group. Tins shows that the lowest income group has less opportunity to seek treatment due to the cost. Even though other countries have started to offer mental health insurance such as the United States of America. United Kingdom. Australia and recently Singapore. Malaysia is still way behind in offering coverage for mental health illness. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to study the mental health takaful from the perspective of Maqasid shariah. The results from this study show that mental health takaful is able to meet the requirement of Maqasid shariah and preserve the benefits of. and prevent harm to human wellbeing.
