Publication Wise Assist: Senior Citizens’ Daily Living Mobile Application(Kolej PERMATA Insan, 2023-12-23) ;Umi Nashwah Mohd ZainiuNurdiana AzizanThis research aims to develop a mobile application for senior citizens’ daily living needs. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Malaysia will become the oldest country and it has been reported that one (1) in six (6) people will be over 60 years of age by 2030. Along with this prediction, the Malaysian government expresses several suggestions to develop initiatives and innovative ideas that can contribute to the welfare and enrich the lives of the elderly in Malaysia. Although many applications are developed nowadays, few applications are targeted at senior citizens. Therefore, the Wise Assist mobile application aims to provide services to help caregivers ensure that senior citizens get the proper age care and allow the caregiver to perform their daily tasks easily. The agile model is used in this project because at every stage of the process the researcher can get feedback from users, learn from their experiences, and make the required improvements as the project develops. This application will be used by the caregiver or family members who have difficulties or clashes with their activities to assist the senior citizen’s daily needs such as accompanying the senior citizen at home or going for a medical appointment. Therefore, it is highly recommended for the caregiver to use this application to ensure that senior citizens get the proper care for their health.
