The rising question is who would succeed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a religious leader, and turn around the claims about the Prophet's words which afflict the Muslim community when he was left. It was a crucial malicious for the society due to their religious practices would be denied and even defaces their religious grasps. It was further more complicated, without trying to find clarity about the status of the hadiths, in which some of the people in a vulnerable and accept all the utterances purportedly attributed to the Prophet (pbuh). Hence, this paper revisits on the hazards of fabrication of hadith. The result is the scholars of hadith have always been trying to explain the position of the hadiths which are spread among the Muslims, as evidence of God's care for the purity of Islam until the end of time. In particular, the fabrication of hadith causes serious risks which found on religious values in hadith will be accepted and believed as the truth eventually.

As a consequence of independent thinking that is unbind by the holy revelation, an anti-hadith movement is established and it rejects the hadith as a source of Islamic law. It is said to have established during the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), but it was more individualistic and unserious. However, it quickly influences Muslims, especially those who believe in independent thinking and in the opinion that Islam needs to be modernized. This article will focus on the deviations made by those who are known by various names, but have one thing in common, which is rejecting hadiths. The implications resulting from the anti-hadith movement around the world via various platforms will be analyzed in the aspects of faith, law, worship, Islamic law, thought, knowledge, religious institutions and Islamic civilization.

This article seeks to identify the extent to which the concept of bid'ah, its distribution and the understanding of bid'ah hasanah (commendable innovation) concept from the perspective of hadith as debated by scholars. This article employs the method of documentation in gathering the data from Kutub al-Tis'ah (The six books of hadith) and other sources identified as appropriate with the requirement of the study. Based on this study, the related hadiths show that the bid'ah practice is forbidden. This is because according to the scholars, bid'ah in terms of the Islamic law is the practice that conflicts with the Qur'an, hadith and sayings of the Companion (athar). Meanwhile, the concept of bid'ah hasanah needs to be understood so that Muslims are not confused about this matter and so that it will not confuse others. Although Imam al-Shafi'i divides bid'ah into good (hasanah) and bad (sayyi'ah), we need to find evidence and come up with the debate before imposing anything whether it will be accepted or otherwise.
