Publication Amalan Guru Cemerlang Dalam Pengajaran Dan Pembelajaran (PdP) Bahasa Dan Sastera Arab Mengikut Strategi Ibnu Khaldun(USM, 2020) ;Rosni Samah ;Aishah IsahakWan Azura Wan AhmadTeaching Arabic language and literature in Malaysia is growing rapidly and across all levels of study. However, the problems are not yet fully explored. Weakness of student acquisition is always addressed by researchers. This content occurs because the teaching method still uses the old method, namely translation and teacher-centered learning. The purpose of this study is to present a language teaching strategy described by Ibn Khaldun and to see teachers performing to meet the needs of this strategy. In order to obtain the data, this study used qualitative methods that used interviews as an instruments for data acquisition. Eight excellent teachers were selected for this study. The findings show that Ibn Khaldun’s strategy is divided into three parts, gathering, strengthening and application. The practice of excellent teachers meets the requirements of this strategy. This study proposes to stakeholders to adapt this strategy in teaching Arabic to fit the requirements of PAK-21. The Day of Resurrection is one of the main issues discussed in the Qur'an. The article aims to give a clear picture to humans about the day of Resurrection by manifest imagery in the visible world. To achive this goal, this study analyzes some of the beauty of the Quranic style of language in discussing the issue of the Day of Resurrection, and the description of its dread and the chaos through the simile. This article uses qualitative methods through the analysis of the selected verses from parts in Juzuk Amma as an example as well as the opinion of the shcolars through selected exegexis books. The study found that various types of linguistic style and simile have been used by the Qur'an to illustrate the style of the Day of Resurrection such as the complete destruction of the universe with the use of tashbih mujmal, tashbih baligh and so on. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The current generation is attracted to and interacts with technological methods. We are now utilizing a new modern technology, ChatGPT. This technology utilizes the power of artificial intelligence. It has modern applications relying on artificial intelligence, working faster and more broadly. This study aims to program a model for this technology in teaching the Arabic language for specific purposes, as the ChatGPT platform is well-known and widely used by students of the current generation. Students use it to complete their duties, activities, and research as an educational means. The objective of this study is to identify the nature of the ChatGPT platform and the extent of its use in teaching the Arabic language for specific purposes among Arabic language teachers, specifically in the USIM University. The study employs a descriptive and analytical approach as well. The study describes and analyzes data obtained from primary and secondary resources like seminars, discussions, scientific articles, periodicals, etcetera. This is accomplished by surveying the opinions of specialists in the field of language teaching for specific purposes. This study has shown a great remark upon what we have discovered, the most important of which is that the ChatGPT model is a modern technology based on artificial intelligence. It can interact with users through a variety of conversations (chat), answering questions in general, both complex and ordinary. It can also analyze texts simply by obtaining a string of words or a short description of your own words. These words and expressions are transformed into texts, images, or vice versa. We have found that this application can also serve people with the function of teaching and learning the Arabic language. Especially teaching the four language skills in the literal private field. Publication Conceptual Model Of Communication Politeness Based On Quranic Rhetoric And Pshycology(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2021-10-06) ;Wan Azura Wan AhmadAhmad Fazullah M.Z.AThe concept of communication politeness in Islam can be referred through the discussion contained in the Quran (al-Khatib, 2012). The Qur'an contains rhetorical verses that illustrate the beauty of communication between people in accordance with the purpose to educate noble character. The ethics of communication are found in several surahs in the Quran. First, the qaulan sadida (QS.4 an-Nisa': 9) which speak words of appropriate justice, valid, and precise. Second, qaulan ma'rufa (QS.4 an-Nisa': 8) which suggests that humans communicate with language that does not touch the soul and feelings of the audience. Third, Qawlan baligha (QS.4 al-Nisa': 63) which emphasizes that information disseminated to the community can have a profound impact on their souls. Next is the qaulan maisura (QS.17: al-Isra': 28) which warns humans that the information disseminated must be understandable according to the level of capability of the listeners. Fifth, qaulan karima (QS.17: al-Isra': 23) which explains that the language and words expressed must have good and noble values. This paper explores the beauty of rhetorical language style in communication-themed verses in the Quran and brings new models with the addition of several new elements. The methodology of the study is qualitative by analyzing Quranic verses related to the theme of communication impressions as well as tafsir and Arabic rhetorical books, journal articles and other related sources. The study finds that the ethics and practices of polite communication in the Quran contain rhetorical elements. In addition to the qaulan verses mentioned above, the aspect of tone of voice, the use of the best and appropriate language as well as the technique of repetition are very important rhetorical elements in the communication process. Publication Halangan Berkomunikasi Dalam Bahasa Arab Di Kalangan Pelajar Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2006) ;Lubna Abd RahmanWan Azura Wan AhmadThis research investigates the obstacles in communicating in the Arabic language among students of Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM), formerly known as Islamic College University of Malaysia (KUIM). The methodology used to achieve the objective of the study is the questionnaire approach. This is conducted by distributing the forms to 147 students from three selected faculties: Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSU), Faculty of Quran and Sunnah Studies (FPQS) and Faculty of Major Language Studies (FPBU). In addition, the interview method was also used between the researcher and a few selected individuals who are academicians and student from three local universities: USIM, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and National University of Malaysia (UKM). This was conducted to know respondents' views about students' level of communication in Arabic, and to gather guidelines and approach which can be applied to solve the communication problems among students. The findings show that the main factor that contributes to students' difficulty to communicate in Arabic, whether in class or outside class, is because of psychological factor. This refers to students' own attitude which is lack of confidence, shy and afraid of making mistakes in speaking. RahmanWan Azura Wan AhmadPenyelidikan ini mengkaji halangan berkomunikasi dalam bahasa arab dalam kalangan pelajar Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) yang dulunya dikenali sebagai Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia (KUIM). Bagi mencapai tujuan tersebut, kajian soal selidik diaplikasikan dengan mengedarkan boring kepada 147 orang pelajar dari tiga buah fakulti terpilih iaitu Fakulti Syariah & Undang-undang (FSU), Fakulti Pengajian Quran dan Sunnah (FPQS) DAN Fakulti Pengajian Bahasa Utama (FPBU). Selain daripada itu, kaedah temu bual telah diadakan antara penyelidik dan beberapa individu yang terdiri daripada ahli akademik dan pelajar tiga buah university tempatan iaitu USIM, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) dan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Temu bual ini diadakan untuk mengetahui pandangan responden mengenai tahap komunikasi pelajar dalam bahasa arab serta mendapatkan panduan dan pendekatan yang boleh diaplikasikan untuk menangani halangan dan masalah komunikasi pelajar dalam bahasa tersebut. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa faktor utama yang menjadi halangan kepada para pelajar untuk berkomunikasi dalam bahasa arab di dalam kelas mahupun di luar kelas adalah faktor psikologi yang merujuk kepada sikap pelajar itu sendiri. Sikap tidak yakin, malu dan takut melakukan kesilapan ddalam pertuturan merupakan antara halangan tersebut. Publication The Influence Of Egyptian Novel On The Emergence Of The First Modern Malaysian Novel(Scholars middle east publisher, Dubai, UAE, 2017) ;Rosni Samah ;Fariza Puteh-Behak ;Zainur Rijal Abdul Razak ;Wan Azura Wan AhmadAisyah IshakZainab’ novel written by Al- Haikal was the first novel in modern Egyptian literature. The theme tells about women's freedom from the shackles of life traditions. Similar theme is found in Faridah Hanom‟s novel which is Malaysia's first novel, by Syed Syeikh al-Hadi. The plot of Faridah Hanom revolves around the above issue which takes the backdrop of Cairo and its surroundings. The current study aims to identify the similarities between Zainab's novel and Faridah Hanom's novel in terms of themes, characters, plots and backgrounds. The comparison and analysis carried out between the two novels clearly indicate that there are similarities in the selection of themes, characters, plot construction structures and depicted background images. The main theme of both novels is freedom of women from the grip of tradition that does not allow women the right to go out to work, to study and to choose a life partner. Both characters are similarly played by female characters and assisted by male characters. The only difference is the number of angles. From the point of the plot, both revolve around the love relationship between two teenagers as a result of love at first sight. The similarity of background, however, can be seen through the plots that occur in the Egyptian states, the cities of Alexandria and Sudan. In addition, the novels portray the village cultural lives. This equivalences show that the Zainab‟s novel has influenced the creation of Faridah Hanom's novel through adaptation form. Kaedah pengajaran berbasis ChatGPT masih lagi tiada garis panduan yang jelas tentang perlaksanaannya. Hal ini terjadi pada kebanyakkan kursus atau subjek yang diajar termasuk Bahasa Arab Tujuan Khas (Arabic for Specific Purposes). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan instruksi pengajaran berasaskan AiChatGPT khusus untuk pengajaran Bahasa Arab tujuan khas sebagai panduan umum pengajaran atau instruktor. Kajian akan menggunakan strategi 4R khusus untuk pembangunan Rapid eLearning iaitu: redesign -Record – Rebuild -Republish . RahmanAhmad Fazullah Mohd Zainal AbidinThis study aims to identify key factors that affect the psychological preference towards Arabic language learning among students in Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Learning Arabic in HEI is a continuation of learning Arabic language in lower secondary, upper secondary and tertiary level-matriculation. Research problem was derived from the issue of Arabic language proficiency and achievement among university students which showed less favorable results despite sufficient exposure and learning facilities provided by the institutions. This study employed survey research design that involved a participant of 100 first year students from two respective faculties in USIM where Arabic is a requirement and pre-requisite for their studies. In addition, most of the students had been exposed to this language acquisition process during their school years. Findings indicate that the factors such as students 'background, interests, motivation, environment and educational technology play such important roles in determining the success of learning a language. However, in order to obtain more comprehensive results, further research needs to be done which includes other variables, constructs and samples from each faculty, institutions, year of study and etc. This study contributes to the understanding of psychological preference towards Arabic language learning in the context of higher education. BakarZainur Rijal Abdul RazakIsu makanan halal telah menjadi isu global yang hangat diperbincangkan dewasa ini. Segenap lapisan masyarakat sama ada muslim atau tidak semakin sensitif dengan perkembangan isu makanan termasuklah ke peringkat status kesucian sesuatu produk makanan. Atas kesedaran ini, Malaysia berhasrat untuk menjadikan negara ini sebagai hub halal terkemuka yang menjadi tumpuan dunia. Sehubungan dengan itu, isu makanan termasuklah metode pengeluaran hukum dan status sesuatu produk makanan sering dibincangkan di pelbagai peringkat seperti seminar dan pusat penyelidikan. Pelbagai aspek disentuh dalam perbincangan tersebut termasuklah peranan bahasa Arab dalam perkara ini. Penghuraian isu makanan dari segi status kesuciannya tidak dapat dipisahkan daripada pengaruh bahasa Arab. Oleh itu, kertas kerja ini akan membincangkan kepentingan bahasa Arab dalam penghuraian isu makanan. Dalam kertas kerja ini pendapat-pendapat ulama tafsir diketengahkan sebagai rujukan dan sandaran dalam menerangkan hubung kait yang signifikan antara bahasa Arab dan penghuraian isu tersebut dalam al-Quran. Dapatan kajian menjelaskan bahawa seseorang yang terlibat dalam penghuraian sesuatu isu berkaitan makanan perlu menguasai bahasa tersebut secara mendalam. RahmanPenyelidikan ini mengkaji kesan faktor bahasa arab iaitu terminology, semantic dan budaya terhadap penghuraian isu makanan dalam surah Al-Maidah dan surah An’am. Disamping itu, penyelidikan ini cuba melihat tahap pengetahuan masyarakat dan kesedaran mereka terhadap isu makanan halal. Bagi tujuan pertama, metod kajian perpustakaan digunakan mengkaji beberapa ayat al-Quran yang berkaitan isu makanan dalam dua surah tersebut. Dalam merealisasikan tujuan kedua, sebanyak 300 borang soal selidik telah diedarkan kepada responden yang terdiri daripada pensyarah, pelajar, pegawai, guru dan pengusaha makanan. Pengalisan Sciences (SPSS) dengan menggunakan perisian Statistikal Packages for Social dan jadual silang (Crosstabulations). Selain daripada itu , kaedah temu bual juga dijalankan dengan Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) dan Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (JHEAINS) bagi mencapai tujuan kedua ini. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa ketiga-tiga aspek bahasa arab iaitu terminologi, semantic dan budaya mempunyai kaitan yang amat rapat dan mesti diambil kira dalam penghuraian isu makanan dalam surah al-Maidah dan al-An’am. Dapatan kajian ini juga menunjukan bahawa sebahagian besar masyarakat semakin mengambilberat terhadap isu makanan halal dan mengikuti perkembangannya. It is undeniable that the Arabic language factor is the branch of knowledge that must be considered when interpreting the Quranic verses. This is because the purpose of a particular interpretation of the Quran as a source of law should be construed in accordance with the views of Islamic scholars when influenced by language factors. The objective of this paper is to identify to what extent three factors, namely, Arabic terminology, semantics and ‘urf, can affect the Quranic interpretation and hukum production of halal food issue. To achieve the objective, the library research method was used to analyse related verses in surah al-Ma’idah and al-An‘am. Perubahan ini meliputi semua aspek kehidupan termasuklah sosial, ekonomi dan politik. Masyarakat terpaksa mengharungi norma kehidupan baharu bagi mengekang penularan pandemik ini. Bidang pendidikan sama ada di peringkat rendah, menengah mahu pun institusi pengajian tinggi turut terkesan dengan perubahan tersebut. Di Malaysia, para pendidik dan pelajar mula beralih daripada pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) di dalam bilik darjah dan bilik kuliah kepada norma baharu PdP dalam talian (online). Pelbagai platform digunakan untuk merealisasi sistem PdP seperti penggunaan Google Classroom, Telegram, Zoom, Microsoft dan sebagainya agar pelajar tidak ketinggalan dalam proses pembelajaran. Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) turut mewajibkan pembelajaran atas talian selaras dengan arahan Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi agar kaedah pembelajaran tersebut dilaksanakan secara berterusan sehingga Disember 2020. Bukanlah mudah untuk berubah kepada normal baharu kerana perubahan ini berlaku secara drastik. Objektif – Kajian ini cuba melihat perubahan ini dari kaca mata pelajar Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia untuk mengetahui pandangan mereka tentang pembelajaran atas talian. Methodologi – Kajian ini berbentuk kuantitatif yang menggunakan kaedah soal selidik dan hanya memilih sebahagian pelajar Tahun 3 yang mengikuti kursus Metodologi Penyelidikan (MP) sebagai sampel kajian. Dapatan – Kajian awal mendapati kursus ini bukanlah mudah untuk dipelajari melalui dalam talian kerana memerlukan penerangan secara terus daripada pensyarah. Selain itu, pelajar juga kurang selesa mengikuti pembelajaran dalam talian kerana tidak dapat bersemuka dengan pensyarah untuk bertanyakan apa jua permasalahan yang dihadapi semasa melakukan tugasan Kepentingan –Kajian ini diharapkan dapat diambil perhatian oleh pihak berwajib untuk memastikan kaedah PdP sentiasa dalam keadaan yang selesa kepada pelajar dan memberi manfaat yang optimal dalam pembelajaran mereka. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The philosophy of education is to penetrate elements of knowledge and wisdom, skills, attitudes, abilities and values towards individuals. The application of these elements should go through the educational process of teaching and learning with various approaches, methods, techniques and strategies. However, the approach in the ecosystem of teaching and learning is the reinforcement approach. Therefore, this paper examines the reinforcement approach in children's education from the perspective of Islamic psychology and the Quranic rhetoric. This study is a qualitative study by analyzing the text of the Qur'an, the Hadith and resources from Islamic psychology. Publication Peranan Aktiviti Ko-kurikulum Tambahan Berkaitan Bahasa Arab di USIM dalam Meningkatkan Penguasaan Bahasa Pelajar(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2007) ;Wan Azura Wan Ahmad ;Zainur Rijal Abdul RazakWan Moharani MohammadThis research studies the role of Arabic language co-curriculum activities in Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) also previously known as Islamic University College of Malaysia (KUIM) in improving the students' language proficiency. In order to achieve the main objective of this research, about 67 questionnaires were distributed to the students from the first, second and third year of Bachelor of Arabic Language and Communication from Faculty of Major Languages, USIM. Besides that, the pre and post tests were administrated during selected Arabic language activities such as Language Camp, Language Month, Language Week and Mentor-mentee programme. The researchers also conducted several interviews to a number of academicians, 2 FPBU's students and 2 students from Faculty of Economic and Muamalat and Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies respectively. The objective of engaging this interview is to gather students' responses on the role of Arabic language co-curriculum activities in improving their language proficiency as well as to know their problems and point of views on the activities. This research found that the co-curriculum activities which were held at either FPBU or USIM level to some extend, play a very important role in improving the students' proficiency in Arabic language. Nevertheless, the research also revealed a few setback in such language programs conducted, including failing to meet the program's objective due to excessive loads of planned activities. Hence, this research further suggested that organizers to prepare a detailed and comprehensive annual planning prior to the programme or activities held, apart from monitoring the faculty's activities to ensure effective and conductive learning environment instilled in such programmes. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Namun, fokus perbincangan makalah ini merujuk kepada hubungan emosi dengan kesopanan komunikasi khusus dalam konteks ilmu psikologi dan retorik al-Quran. Justeru, makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perspektif psikologi dan retorik al-Quran terhadap aspek emosi dan kesopanan komunikasi dalam al-Quran. Kajian kualitatif ini cuba menjelaskan beberapa ayat-ayat Al-Quran bertemakan emosi dan kesopanan komunikasi dengan fokus ulasan daripada sudut psikologi dan retorik al-Quran. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa tema emosi dan kesopanan komunikasi dalam al-Quran mengandungi prinsip psikologi dan retorik al-Quran (seperti kosa kata, struktur ayat dan makna). Pertama, ayat al-Quran bertemakan emosi dan kesopanan komunikasi memaparkan keterikatan emosi yang memberi impak emosi terhadap jiwa manusia. Kedua, ayat-ayat kesopanan komunikasi mengandungi unsur retorik al-Ma’ani yang menggalakkan komunikasi harmoni dan sejahtera. Satu kerangka konsepsual komunikasi berasaskan prinsip kesopanan dan emosi dibentuk bagi menggambarkan konsep ini. Kajian ini merupakan salah satu bidang penyelidikan yang menggabungjalinkan pelbagai bidang iaitu bidang psikologi dan retorik bahasa Arab (dalam konteks al-Quran) dalam menjelaskan tema-tema kemanusiaan dalam al-Quran sebagai panduan kepada manusia sejagat. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Walaubagaimanapun subjek Balaghah di peringkat Universiti ini tidak dapat menarik minat pelajar dan sukar melahirkan pelajar yang memahami dan menghayati keindahan bahasa Arab melalui retorik teks-teks sastera Arab. Dengan demikian, kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengenal pasti bahan-bahan rujukan yang sedia ada yang telah digunakan di Institusi Pengajian Tinggi dengan menganalisis isi kandungan dan silibus buku teks Balaghah yang menjadi rujukan pelajar Institusi Pengajian Tinggi. Hal ini kerana setiap universiti telah menggunakan pelbagai buku rujukan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Balaghah. Kajian ini telah menganalisa data dengan menggunakan kaedah Analisis Tematik untuk menganalisis kandungan buku-buku rujukan subjek Balaghah yang digunakan di IPTA/S. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa buku-buku yang sedia ada ini tidak sesuai untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan pengajaran di Institusi Pengajian Tinggi, ini kerana kandungan ubahsuai tidak dapat mencapai ciri-ciri buku rujukan yang perlu memenuhi standard dan kualiti sumber pembelajaran utama dalam kuliah oleh guru dan pelajar - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Previous articles will be analyzed for this study. The outcome of this study will identify the similarities and the differences between these two perspectives. It discussed the views of scientists around them because of its moral and synthetic effects, and the inclusion images contained in the Koran. The study adopted the analytical method, comparing to the views of scientists on the subject in the books of language, interpretations, grammar and rhetoric for the preference of a strong over the weak. The result showed that the rule of Standard inclusion was unanimous in verbs, measurement is permissible on the names and characters for the prevalence of use.
