Publication Developing An Effective Quran Memorisation Technique Using Fuzzy Delphi Method(Usuli Faqih Research Centre PLT, 2017) ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Zaharah Hussin ;Zawawi Ismail ;Zulkiple Abd Ghani ;Adnan Mohamed YusoffHayati HussinThe main objective of the tahfiz curriculum is to create a generation of huffaz (the memorisers of the Quran) who remember the entire Quran to preserve its content from any distortion, addition and deviation. Every student is required to memorise and remember all 6236 verses from the Quran in a stipulated period. Previous studies found that the tahfiz students in Malaysia are facing difficulties in memorising the entire Quran in the predetermined time. Most of the issues and problems faced by them because they are not exposed to an effective and systematic method in memorising the Quran. Given the serious performance issues of tahfiz students in Malaysia, research is needed to develop an effective Quran memorisation technique. For that purpose, the researchers have come out with specific techniques in memorising the Quran from books that became the primary reference in the field of tahfiz using document analysis. Next, the researchers used Fuzzy Delphi Method to validate the Quran memorisation techniques. The Fuzzy Delphi Method is applied in this research to obtain views and consensus from the experts in a structured manner. This research used document analysis and quantitative method. In conclusion, 22 memorisation techniques were drafted and approved by the experts in the field of tahfiz al-Quran education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Model Development On Mediation Role Of Intention To Use Of Student Information System Quality(Journal of Critical Reviews, 2020) ;Yahya Omar Mohamed Fagroun ;Norasikin Fabil ;Najwa Haayati Mohamad Alwi ;Nur Diana AzizanZawawi IsmailStudents Information System (SIS) is considered as an important system in the management and development of higher education institutions. SIS have been widely studied focusing on factors that influences the intention to use and adopt, and the performance of information systems but limited in system quality. Since system quality is essential to encourage user to have the “intention to use” of SIS and bring toward the successful of SIS implementation, the study on influences factors of system quality is an important. This paper aims to identify the factors of system quality, investigate the relationship of intention to use between the system’s quality and user’s satisfaction of SIS. This quantitative study is based on purposive sampling method and uses questionnaire to collect randomly data from 275 postgraduate students in a selected university. Eight (8) relevant factors has been identified from the reviewing the literature. The result shows that intention to use has relationship between system’s quality and user’s satisfaction as output of SIS and affect the frequent users’ level of satisfaction. This study proposes a model of intention to use of SIS that recommend the developers of SIS to give special attention to the development process and focus on the dimensions of SIS quality to enhance the level of usage SIS and particularly influence on user's satisfaction in educational institutions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Model Penilaian Program Tahfiz Al-Quran Di Nusantara Berdasarkan Model Penilaian Provus (Discrepancy Evaluation Model)(Jurnal Kepimpinan Pendidikan, Fakulti Pendidikan, 2018) ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Zawawi IsmailZaharah HussinThe main objective of Quranic memorisation education is to create a generation of huffaz that is capable of memorising the entire Quran and preserving it from any exploitation. This objective should be understood clearly by the tahfiz institution administrators, the teachers, the parents and tahfiz al-Quran students. Problems could occur if this objective is not understood clearly, while the solution should be sought. Previous studies have shown that several issues arise in the education of the tahfiz al-Quran. Among the issues are; tahfiz students are not able to recite the entire al-Quran without looking at the mushaf, tahfiz students failed to memorise the syllabus within the designated period, tahfiz students are not able to write Quranic verses without looking at the mushaf, tahfiz students failed to master the tajweed knowledge theoretically and practically and the weakness of the tahfiz students to perceive Mutashabihat al-Lafzi verses in the Quran. Thus, evaluation of the Quran tahfiz program should be carried out to identify the causes of the weaknesses. The purpose of the evaluation is to ensure that the tahfiz al-Quran program is running as planned. For that purpose, the researcher developed an evaluation model for the tahfiz alQuran program based on the Discrepancy Evaluation Model by Provus (1971). The results of this study show that four aspects need to be addressed so that the five issues that occur in the Quran tahfiz education could be solved. The first aspect is the determination of tahfiz al-Quran objectives, the second aspect is the preparation before memorising the Quran, the third aspect is the memorisation process, and the fourth aspect is the process of revising the Quran. By using this model as an evaluation instrument, the cause of the problem in tahfiz al-Quran education can be identified and solved. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Motivation Elements in Game-based Learning (GBL) for Tajweed Learning(Semarak Ilmu Publishing, 2024) ;Nadiah Ramlan ;Norasikin FabilZawawi IsmailTajweed is a Quranic knowledge, and it is essential to provide a Quranic generation that is fluently and accurately reading the Quran. Unfortunately, previous studies depicted many students unable to read the Quran and indicated low achievement in Quranic subjects. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to create an interactive environment that can support the teaching and learning process, such as Game-Based Learning (GBL). GBL is a teaching aid that can be customized for teaching and learning and encourages students to be actively involved. Meanwhile, various factors are still being investigated in game design to ensure the success of GBL implementation, including motivational elements as an aspect of game design. Therefore, this study aims to identify the effect of GBL design on students' motivation in learning Tajweed. The game (i-Tajweed) deployed a Game Development Framework (GDF) and was tested using a quasi-experimental method on 120 students at primary schools by a purposive sampling method. The study used a set of questionnaires and a set of Tajweed Tests as the instruments for collecting data. The findings of the analysis revealed that the level of significance (0.000 < 0.05) value of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.310. The result suggests that there is a significant correlation between student's achievement and motivation. Hence, the result proves that using GBL with motivational elements in the design can increase student motivation positively. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Pembangunan Model Visualisasi Ilmu Hadis Berdasarkan Domain Ilmu Hadis(Universiti Malaya (UM), 2019) ;Norasikin Fabil ;Zawawi Ismail ;Nor Nazrina Mohamad Nazry ;Shahrul Azman Mohd Noah ;Zarina ShukurJuhana SalimInformation delivery in the visualizing format is a visual and organized presentation. However, visualizing is not just about visual, it is even able to attract and provide high understanding to people, in particular, when searching for information in a knowledge domain. In the domain science of hadith, its progression and proliferation have started since the deputation of Prophet Muhammad SAW. The rise has formed a knowledge framework that includes systematic information presentation and access as an assurance to validate information delivered. Therefore, this study presents a new method to understand the domain science of hadith via information visualization. It discusses the development of the Visualization Model of the Domain Science of Hadith through four methodical phases that begin with information identification, followed by information acquisition and data restructuring, and finally with visualizing of the domain science of hadith. The model indicates clear understanding and depiction of the structure of the domain science of hadith and its connection to the knowledge in the domain itself, including narrators’ knowledge and linkage, citations system and hadith knowledge. Also, the model may be referred and applied by other developers in the creation of a variety of technology and application with regards to the domain science of hadith. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
