Perkembangan bidang tafsir di Malaysia diperangaruhi oleh tokoh ulama Melayu daripada pelbagai institusi pendidikan dan setiap daripada mereka mempunyai metode pengajian tafsir yang tersendiri. Keunggulan ilmu tokoh ulama terdahulu dapat dilihat melalui penghasilan kitab-kitab tafsir. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan aspek pemikiran dan metode penyampaian Muhammad Idris Al-Marbawi dan Mustafa Abdul Rahman dalam karya masing-masing. Fokus kajian ini adalah kepada tafsiran surah Yasin kedua-dua tokoh. Melalui pendekatan kajian perpustakaan, penulis berusaha meneliti dua aspek tersebut dalam karya setiap tokoh dan kemudian membanding antara keduanya. Hasil kajian mendapati pemikiran Al-Marbawi bersifat universal dan integral; pentafsiran beliau sarat dengan perbincangan merangkumi dan merentasi pelbagai bidang ilmu dan aspek. Pemikiran Mustafa Abdul Rahman pula lebih bersifat kontradik dengan Al-Marbawi; pentafsiran beliau mendasar dan merangkumi pengetahuan umum berkenaan ayat. Dari segi metodologi penyampaian Al-Marbawi diwarnai dengan pelbagai pendekatan unik dan susun atur kitab yang sistematik, sementara Mustafa Abdul Rahman menggunakan pendekatan syarahan dengan gaya bahasa yang mudah difahami pembaca.

Islamic revelation as the main reference in the exploration of knowledge has created scientific methods and thoughts based on tawḥīd. This can be seen through scientific discoveries by the legacy of Islamic scholars such as Jabir Ibn Hayyan, al-Khawarizmi, al-Bīrūnī, Ibn Sina, Ibn Qayyim, and many others who integrated the revelation and scientific knowledge to solve the problems faced by mankind. The objectives of this paper are to elaborate the benefits, preconditions and needs of the integration of turath and scientific knowledge as a contemporary da’wah initiative. In other words, scientific knowledge is made as a Manhaj Rabbani in the transformation of da’wah based on tawḥīd. The qualitative method is applied to collect information through the analysis of books, journals, and academic publications. The results of the findings show that the integration of turath and scientific knowledge in multidisciplinary research is very beneficial and serves as the contemporary da’wah medium. At the same time, it also gives confidence to the preacher to speak in multidisciplinary subject matters.

This article aims to reveal the theory of voice application in the reciting of The Holy Quran with 'tarannum'. Many people know that the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, encouraged people to read the Holy Quran with a good voice, but they do not know the rules and how to beautify the voice when reciting the Holy Quran. Basically, there are four levels of voice can be applied in the recitation of the Holy Quran which every level has it function to affect the melody of recitation that will be produced. Therefore, this article will reveal more about the tools and voice functions, voice interest in reading the Quran, the levels of voice in the reading of Al-Quran and methods of treatment according to the practice of reciters voice. The authors used several methods to obtain information related to the research as interviews and review of the literature relating to this art. This article will help the readers of the Holy Quran to have a better understand of the function and true method of voice application in reciting the Holy Quran especially for those who are reciting with 'tarannum' which known by 'maqamat'.
