    The study aimed to investigate the effect of (K.W.L.H) in improving reading comprehen-sion skills in the Arabic language among tenth grade students in the United Arab Emirates. To achieve the objectives of the study and answer its questions, the researcher follows the semi-experimental approach. Check their validity and reliability. (30) students were taught using the self-scheduling strategy, and another group of (30( students were selected who will be taught in the usual way. Thus, the total number of the study sample is (60 students from the tenth grade. Then, the post-test is conducted for reading comprehension skills, and in the light of the expected results that the researcher will reach, which is the presence of statistical-ly significant differences in favor of the (K.W.L.H) strategy compared to the traditional method.
