Abstract

Green technology is new in Malaysia. This technology is an outcome product of global warming. The whole regions in the world have been affected by this extreme condition. Scientists discovered Global warming since the mid- 20 century and its projected prolongation. This paper offers a preliminary insight of the application of Environmental Law Principles in the National Green Technology Policy and Act in Malaysia. Supported by the Principles, the National Green Technology Act and Policy are hoped to achieve its aim and objective at is to govern the Green Technology practices in Malaysia. Besides great determination by the Malaysian government in ensuring a success in implementing the green technology, the paper infers the adoption of the Environmental Law Principles in both Act and Policy for the purpose harmonising green development and environment.
