Manajemen Membangun Masjid Berbasis Partisipasi Masyarakat

The number of mosques always increases in line with the increasing number of Muslims. The construction of mosques is carried out everywhere, both on a city, village, RW/RT and even individual scale. The construction of mosques in general is built by the government and the community. Mosques built by the community are carried out with the participation and management of the community itself. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, by collecting data from interviews with 28 mosque construction committees in Demak Regency. The data obtained is processed and analyzed the application of building management in each mosque. The results of the study show that the community has implemented management to build mosques that are open, democratic and implement the POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) system. The conclusion obtained is the existence of management actors building mosques that determine success starting from the design, process of building and maintaining mosques.
