Abstract

The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of strategic leadership on the performance of employees through organizational loyalty as a mediating variable for the Ras Al Khaimah Police in the UAE Ministry of Interior through analyzing the attitudes and opinions of their members, which represented the variables of the study and which the researcher adopted as a field of study. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method as it is one of the most widely used methods in studying social and human phenomena to achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, using a questionnaire specially designed according to the five-point Likert method as a main tool for collecting data and information, to indicate the opinions of the respondents on the subject of the study by answering a set of questions that represent Questionnaire paragraphs, The study population was limited to the human cadres of leaders, workers, specialists, and those with experience and those who are scientifically qualified in the Ras Al Khaimah Police in the United Arab Emirates. The respondent sample was adopted from the total population and was estimated after collecting it and determining the suitability for analysis as (384) respondents from the Ras Al Khaimah Police. The statistical software packages SPSS and Ver.25 were used to analyze the data through appropriate statistical methods to obtain descriptive analyzes of the nature of the data and classify them into complete groups so that they can be easily analyzed statistically according to the path of structural equation modeling to show the path of relationships and their interpretation between external, internal and mediating variables and the amount of influence on them. The study reached many results, the most important of which is the existence of a significant correlation between strategic leadership styles and the performance of workers at Ras Al Khaimah Police, as well as supporting organizational loyalty for employees, with a significant correlation between supporting organizational loyalty and the performance of employees at Ras Al Khaimah Police, where the trends in the responses of the study sample were in agreement with a degree Great for all the different axis statements of the questionnaire. The study made some recommendations, the most important of which is the need for strategic leadership practices to include a clear vision and strategic directions regarding employee performance, and to integrate the philosophy of human capital development into the core policies and strategies of the police institution. With the development of strategies and policies that provide workers with opportunities to develop their skills; Through development plans and programs, setting standards and rates to measure the extent to which these goals are achieved. The leaders strengthen and develop the employees’ sense of fair dealings, spread positive organizational values among them, and enhance the ethical practices of security leaders by directing the institutional culture that supports the promotion of employees’ organizational loyalty, by developing a sense of the availability of clear and specific standards in accordance with the rules of self-conduct, in a way that ensures the development of the level of security performance.
