Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of the Israeli occupation imposing restrictions on the freedom of movement and travel of journalists in Palestine and to identify its most significant repercussions on journalistic work. The study employed the descriptive analytical approach to answer the questions and objectives of the study. It concluded with a set of results, the most prominent of which were: to the Palestinian people. The Israeli occupation also prohibits Palestinian journalists from travelling or moving between the same Palestinian cities. The Palestinian journalists who were prevented from moving and travelling were distributed among the various Palestinian towns. The Israeli occupation uses a set of pretexts for these actions, most notably (posing a threat to regional security, incitement through the media, communication/affiliation with prohibited parties, a secret file, and an unknown reason).Among the most significant repercussions of these measures are that they have caused the Palestinian journalist to lose a set of human rights, which are represented by the following points: prevention from press coverage, loss of the right to participate in international events and conferences, loss of the right to work, loss of the right to health, loss of the right to education, He lost the right to express his opinion, he lost the right to found a family.
