Abstract
The Imamate or Caliphate is one of the most important reasons that led to the difference of Muslims, and their division into groups, since the Caliphate until now. The conflict between Islamic doctrines is based on who has the right to assume the Imamate or Caliphate or presidency. The Shi‘ites argue that the imamate of Muslims is a right reserved for Imām Ali after the death of the Prophet (PBUH). They see that the imamate is not a matter of interest that is entrusted to the choice of the public; it is one of the pillars of religion. The role of this research is to discover the political conflict between the Shi“ite sects, which prompted me to choose this comparative subject between the Shiite factions in the political issue. This research is based on Comparative Study, highlighting the similarities and differences between the political theories of the Shi‘ite sects. The analysis is based on a collection of Shi‘ite books in order to reach the scientific truth. It is clear from the research that the Shi‘ites throughout the history of Islām are found in different divisions, always in the position of the opposition.
