Persepsi Pelajar Tamhidi Syariah Dan Undang-Undang, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia Terhadap Kursus Al-Mabadi’ Al-Fiqhiyyah: Satu Kajian Awal

This article aims to look at the perception of students of Tamhidi Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) of Al-Mabadi’ al-Fiqhiyyah course enrolled by students in the first semester. Students who have finished their studies at this stage, will continue their studies either in the Bachelor of Syariah and Law (MSU) or Bachelor of Fiqh and Fatwa (FIFA) at the Faculty of Shariah & Law USIM. The study discussed on students’ evaluation at the end of semester on the teaching and learning methods. The methodology used in this study was a quantitative method (questionnaire) through a Pilot Study as 30 Tamhidi students were the respondents. The study found that in general, the students can understand and relate the current issues to this course as it related to the main areas of Fiqh, Usul Fiqh and Qawaid Fiqhiyyah. The course also provided basic knowledge of Islamic law and Fiqh as well as skills needed in Islamic jurisprudence. The study found that the integration of knowledge among educational, institutional and faculty as well as to expand the scope of the studies have been intrigued students. As a result, this study can be used as a benchmark for Tamhidi to continue and enhance the teaching and learning process based on naqli and aqli knowledge i for this course.
