| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the required competencies for educational supervisors on the measures of total quality management (TQM), towards the educational practices: perspectives of supervisors and teachers in the province of al-Batinah North in the Sultanate of Oman. The study sampled 22 educational supervisors and 257 teachers for data collection. A mixed-methods approach was utilized comprising quantitatively, survey technique and qualitative interview. Data was collected to analyze the results. The findings showed that the educational supervisors in the Province of Al-Batinah North highly practice the necessary competencies in accordance with TQM measures to carry out their day-to-day responsibilities. However, engaging in such practices per se does not guarantee achieving expected aspirations. Therefore, a careful attention should be rendered to improve performance of educational supervisors. | en_US |
