Abstract
This research aims to develop a mobile application for waste recycling. Many people nowadays no longer recycle and instead simply discard rubbish without separating the several types of waste from their bins. In our community, recycling rates are still low. According to the most recent data, the population of the country is expected to expand by 600,000 people a year, or 2.4%, which would increase waste production. The Malaysian population continues to be ignorant of recyclable materials. Therefore, the "RE: THINK" application is created to assist in resolving this problem and making it simpler for society to recycle its waste. The waterfall approach is chosen for this research because the method promotes a consistent concentration across all projects and enables the reproduction of effective elements and learning from mistakes, leading to a process of continual progress. Re: Think mobile application makes recycling simpler and easier because it will allow the consumer to recycle by using smartphones. This application collaborates with accredited recycling facilities. In their state, consumers can select a recycling facility. This application allows consumers to find locations to deliver their recycling stuff more easily. Some communities are unaware that facilities like this exist, so they can easily locate a place to recycle their items. Consumers also may request the recycled products to be picked up at their house which will benefit especially the elderly and disabled consumers. They can identify objects for recycling and make a profit from their recycling activities.
