Abstract
This research discussed the relationship of organizational conflict management in the educational governorates of the Sultanate of Oman through the organizational climate and job satisfaction as mediating variables from the employees' point of view. From this logic, the research aimed at diagnosing the role of the organizational climate in the organizational conflict management in the directorates of education in the educational governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The research also aimed at finding out the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable between the organizational climate and the organizational conflict management in the society itself. In order to achieve this aim and due to the nature of this research, the descriptive analytical correlative approach was used, in addition to the development of a questionnaire, consisting of (66) paragraphs that were distributed on the dimensions and measures of the main variables of the research, which were designed based on some previous studies. Then, subjected to several statistical advanced tests such as: exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, until the use of the structural equation modeling method, to ensure its validity in measuring the research relationships, owing to its distinction than others, for being able to test complex variables simultaneously, taking into account the mediating variable. The research population was represented by five educational governorates in the Sultanate of Oman; (Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Batinah North, Al Batinah South, Al Wusta) with a number of (3,314) employees. The research tool was applied to a random sample of (344) participants, but the number of valid questionnaires for this analysis was (329). In light of this, the research concluded a set of results, the most important of which is the possibility of managing organizational conflict through organizational climate and job satisfaction. The research also concluded that the size of the positive impact in the organizational conflict management is better, if job satisfaction mediates between it and the organizational climate. In addition, job satisfaction partly mediates the positive effect between the organizational climate and the organizational conflict management in the educational governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
