dc.description.abstractSocial media is a rapid communication instrument in disseminating information to the public. However, like other media, social media also has good and bad effects. Post-GE 14, there were negative elements such as prejudice, anger, frustration targeted at the elements of the natives in the Malaysian Federal Constitution. It refers to Thumos or thymos, a feeling, a desire for recognition of dignity and dignity, producing isothymia which is a claim to be respected on par with others. Meanwhile, Megalothymia, the desire to be recognized as superior, has brought many challenges and obstacles in a plural country. This paper will examine the content from several issues and incidents that occurred from social media platforms regarding the issues discussed above as well as looking at the security aspect. Constructive and forward discussions were held to see the acceptance of Malaysians in respecting the elements of “watan”. Studies have found that there are negative elements, prejudices and influenced by irrational feelings in this issue. It is important as Malaysians to know, understand and respect the pillars of the series and elements of the natives in the constitution and the limits set out to create tolerance as well as to create a dream Malaysian nation in the futureen_US
