Abstract
Depression and stress are aspects that need to be watched out for by students because of the many demands that must be achieved. This aspect is also felt by students who study in Islamic boarding schools, where students not only learn academic knowledge but also learn religious knowledge such as memorizing the Qur’an. The number of demands felt by students makes students worry about the health of students, especially the level of depression and stress. This study aimed to see how the relationship between the level of depression and stress of students in influencing the success rate of memorizing the Qur’an and academic achievement. Meta-analysis was carried out by re-analyzing the results of research from various journals that had been published regarding the level of depression and stress in students. The test method used Pearson's test with product moment which aimed to determine the strength of the relationship of the variables used in the study. The journals used in the meta-analysis study amounted to 10 journals and provided sufficient results on the relationship between the level of depression and stress of students on the success rate of memorizing the Qur’an and academic achievement
