Abstract

This research aims to examine green entrepreneurship in the context of religious/belief hybridity through a case study of a business: Life and Co Store, Semarang. This study collects two layers of interviews from six responses involved in establishing and managing structurally active businesses within a business. The findings show the adaptation of green entrepreneurship through a universal and progressive interpretation of Islamic teachings in establishing the enterprise. This paper offers fresh insight into the fusion of religion and environmental activism in green entrepreneurship wisdom through zero waste store. Such insights provide an excellent opportunity to build new understanding and frame explanations of necessary entrepreneurial studies through the role of Islam and environmental activism.
