Levels of understanding the content of the quran based on surah Al-Ikhlas

In order to enhance the understanding of Quran, efforts to understand Muslim�s understanding of the content of the Quran should be of high concern. Thus, this study aims; (1) to explore the Muslims� understanding of the content of the Quran based on Surah Al-Ikhlas and (2) to classify the understanding features based on their level of understanding the Quran based on Surah Al-Ikhlas using the framework analysis. The framework consists of five levels of understanding as categorized by Omar (2016). In terms of data collection, three participants were interviewed-two undergraduate students and one lecturer from a local university. The results show that based on Surah Al Ikhlas each of the participants can give different levels of understanding and they can be classified as Novice, Intermediate, and Expert, respectively. � 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
