dc.description.abstractThis study aims to understand the role of digital media employment in improving the quality of higher education in Arab universities and achieve documented and credible results or knowledge and information applicable in our Arab ventures and contributing to enriching this topic with additional research and studies in a way that develops knowledge in this field due to its obvious importance. In this study, to attain such goals, the researcher uses the descriptive approach depending on a literature review on digital media themes and their applications in education at universities. Among the study’s most important findings are achieving quality requirements in the higher education system in Arab universities requires the efforts of all those in charge of it and activating all bodies concerned with education and higher education in Arab countries; besides benefiting from the scientific and information revolution provided by information and communication technology, particularly the Internet, and making education a priority in all development efforts. The controlling and supervisory bodies grant all necessary material, human resources, and administrative freedom. Specific time plans and programs are formed, subject to accountability and periodic review, and incentives and punishments are decided in light of this if the goals are not met. Among the study’s key recommendations are providing material and moral incentives to educational institutions that use digital media like the Internet, encouraging and facilitating the establishment of virtual universities in the Arab higher education system, and motivating students and researchers to conduct research and studies in the field of education based on digital media.en_US
