Pendidikan Kerohanian Dalam Kitab Turath Jawi Siyar al-Salikin

Spiritual education is a factor that determines the successful of educational goal. Mostof the educational approaches currently focus on academic, intellectual, scientific,technological and skills elements. While the spiritual and soulaspects that are fundamental to the development of the personality, the mannersof the nation are often overlooked. The aim of this study is therefore to examine concepts,processes, methods and approaches to spiritual education in the book Siyar al-Salikin, which has long been a book in the field of education in the traditional Malay Archipelago. The study uses content analysis methodology through a deductive text approach. The findings indicate that the book Siyar al-Salikin is a legacy of higher education in the history of the formation of the character of Islam in the MalayArchipelago. The spiritual education in this bookpresents the concepts of spiritual education, the stages, processes and methods of education, as well as the best practices of spiritual education in the development of perfect human capital. The findings of this study should therefore serve as a source of reference for the development of educational modules and methods, as well as for teaching in the mainstream education system
