Trade is important in the attainment of prosperity and development of nations. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him; PBUH) established Islamic commerce based on Shariah principles which enamoured merchants of different race and religion to convert. Uzbekistan during the Golden Age of Islam, produced learned scholars and became the centre of trade and Islamic culture. However, during the Soviet era occupation, the understanding of Islam was distorted and never regained even after the end of Soviet rule. This conceptual article sets to highlight that Halal economy and Industry 4.0 can be the transformative agent towards the revival of Islam in Uzbekistan.en_US
