Abstract
The aim of this study is to draw attention to Omar Ibn Al-Khattab's policy in dealing with pandemics and how it can be useful in the face of other crises,
compared to some international policies. The study looks at the policies of the European Union, the United States and the United Kingdom. It includes Omar
Ibn Al-Khattab's handling of epidemics and comparing countries' dealings with Covid-19 in the early months of the pandemic. The researcher used three
approaches: the inductive method, the descriptive method, and the critical method. The inductive approach will be used to gather scientific evidence on how Omar ibn al-Khattab and modern states dealt with epidemics. The descriptive approach will be used to explain how Omar and other countries deal with the pandemic. The comparative approach is used to study the phenomenon, where it emphasized the similarities and differences between Omar's dealings and the treatment of modern countries. With the pandemic and its impact on economic life. In order to achieve the desired results, there are some important things that we need to do during the pandemics: its policy of not entering infected lands, checking the condition of the people, and taking preventive measures during the pandemic.
