The preparation of emergency fund could be found in line with the six major areas covers personal financial planning. Despite no specific definition for the emergency fund, previous studies have failed to address the main financial behaviours that contribute to emergency fund formation behaviour. This paper therefore proposed the conceptual model to address this issue.
