Gaya Persembahan Tafsir Al-Azhar Dan Tafsir 'Abr Al-Athir: Satu Perbandingan Bagi Penafsiran Surah Al-Mujadalah

This study explore the language style used in Tafsir al-Azhar and Abr al-Athir which are both use the Malay language as the medium of instruction in the interpretation of the verses of the Quran. The beauty of the language used by these two scholars in Quran. The beauty of the language used by these two scholars in the Quranic exegesis should be reviewed to gain insights. For that purpose, this study will focus on the discussion of 58th surah in the Quran, which is Surah al-Mujadalah. In general, the language style is personal to the writer to convey knowledge and indirectly influenced by their different backgrounds. The data documentation is fully utilized for carrying out this comparative study. As the result, there are some differences can be observed which are: (a) language style usage, (b) interpretation style, (c) and the arrangement style of Tafsir al-Azhar and the Tafsir 'Abr al-Athir. Meanwhile, the similarity can be found which these two books are emphasizing on the teaching and guidance in surah al-Mujadalah for Muslim use, and people all around the world.
