Visions and anything related to them are among the most honorary sciences. In Qur'an, there are seven verses. Also, in the Sunnah of the Messenger, there are almost sixty sound traditions, confirming the importance of the science of dreams and visions. In addition, the concern given to this science by the Prophets, the first of whom is Mohammed (salla Allah alaihi wa sallam), the companions' questions about it, and their interpretation in many traditions stress the care offered to dreams and visions by the Islamic Sharia even though there are many people objecting it and many others have ignorance in it. Qur'an defined the extremist limits sciences can reach. This is not confined to some sciences but to all. Among these sciences is the facts of the psychological sciences. In the Holy Qur'an, there are verses which tackle the human soul in the conditions of moderation and disorder. They offer solutions for the psychological contemporary problems long centuries before psychologists. Of these phenomena, visions and dreams have exhausted the thinking of scholars, medics and philosophers. Many theories have been made for trying to interpret these visions and dreams. They concluded that there are two types of dreams. This research will be discussing the Qur'an's precedence over other psychological sciences and theories related to visions and dreams. It includes the following: the introduction about the linguistic and idiomatical concept of vision and dream in the Qur'an; the first section about Qur'an's precedence over other psychological sciences and theories related to visions and dreams, and the denial of western psychologists' concept of the prophetic dream; the second section about the Qur'anic perspective on dreams and visions against the psychological perspective; and the conclusion about the most significant findings and recommendations.en_US
