Abstract
This study delves into the transformative potential of workplace mentoring imbued with the principles of Al-Qawiy AlAmin—Arabic for 'Strong and Trustworthy.' Drawing inspiration from the mentorship of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and supported by a comprehensive literature review, the research explores the reciprocal dynamics between mentors and mentees, emphasizing strength (Al-Qawiy) in knowledge, skills, and character, coupled with trustworthiness (Al-Amin) in fostering an environment where mentorship thrives. Through the lens of Islamic teachings and Western perspectives on mentoring, the study navigates the interconnectedness of these values, shaping not only individual career trajectories but also cultivating a cultural shift within organizations. A bibliometric analysis, utilizing the Scopus database, further contributes to the scholarly understanding of workplace mentoring by identifying key papers, themes, and trends. The proposed research aims to offer actionable insights for organizations seeking to create nurturing and supportive environments through effective mentoring programs, thereby empowering excellence in workplace dynamics. In embracing Al-Qawiy Al-Amin values, this study envisions a future where mentorship transcends a mere practice, becoming a transformative force for individual and organizational growth.
