Abstract

This brief study aims to explore the effectiveness of students’ experiences towards online learning environment during the Covid-19 pandemic season specifically in the Linguistics course (BAL4083) in Semester 1 2021/2022. The study sample is 59 students. They are from year 3 students in Bachelor of Arabic Language and Communication (SMBAK). The data were collected through a questionnaire using the Microsoft Forms. The results of the study found that the students gained many benefits of learning the course, even though they faced many shortcomings and challenges. They tried their best to overcome disruptions in the online T&L process. The students hoped that they can continue their face-to-face learning as soon as possible despite following the new norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the government in the period of pandemic recently.
