Kepelbagaian Metod Sanad Dan Syajarat Al-asanid Di Dalm Sahih Muslim

Sahih Muslim is a well-known book of authentic hadith and the distinctive method of compiling the chain (of hadith) in the book makes it very unique among the Islamic Scholars. The hadiths in Sahih Muslim are arranged in a very interesting method, especially in terms of summarizing the sanad and turuq hadith because it is very different compared to other books of hadith. Therefore, this study is conducted to examine the variety of methodsregarding the sanad hadith in Sahih Muslim. This paper is a qualitative study with an ethnographydesign. It uses documents as research instruments and it is analyzed with an inductive approach. The study results found that Imam Muslim has his own method in writing sanad by combining his teachers with conjunctionsal-‘Atf.This combination is in order to merge some sanad of hadith with the method of wāwal-‘Atfandal-Taḥwīl. Hence, the method used by Imam Muslim has highlighted the greatness of the muhaddithin in writing the book of hadith
