The study aims to clarify the specificity of the crime of illegal speculation in Algerian legislation by reading the provisions contained in Islamic Sharia and the provisions of Law No 21/15, by shedding light on the provisions regulating the crime of illegal speculation between Sharia and law, including defining the conceptual framework of this crime and the basic elements of its establishment, He then mentioned the mechanisms for criminal follow-up of the perpetrators of the crime of illegal speculation by focusing on the penalties prescribed for the perpetrators of this crime in accordance with the provisions of Law 21/15, and then specifying the actual punitive penalties prescribed for the perpetrators of these crimes in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
