In this research, the researcher dealt with the methodology of Hadith Scholars (Muhaddithen) in examine of the hadiths of the bequest in the view of the six collections of Hadith which selected as a model. The aims of the research is to establish a modern scientific views that signify the importance of the bequest according to what was stated in the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah (S.A.W). The researcher sufficed with the Sunnah of the Prophet for abridgement purpose, also the he provide the evidence of the legitimacy of the bequest in the view of the Sunnah of the prophet (S.A.W). Islam has legislated the bequest for a wisdom that laid down for the benefits of the people in this world and the Hereafter, these benefits included: a person makes up for what he has missed of good actions and charitable deeds, and it is the path to fulfill the righteousness and the relationship to some of his needy relatives who do not inherit him according to the Shari’ah, also a reward from those who gave him a favor. Then the researcher mentioned the schools of the jurists and the hadith scholars (Muhaddithen) from the book of bequest and their impact on the nation from the compulsory and recommended provisions, and from here the research problem appears through the people’s lack of interest in the bequest and the lack of dealing with it and its neglect. Also, it became clear to the researcher that there is no specialized study of bequest in the view of the Prophetic Sunnah, drawn from the six collections of hadith, and because the Book of Bequest in the Six collections is one of the most important references that the researcher refers to in his interpretation of the Qur’an and the clarification of jurisprudence from it, the researcher has divided the study into four chapters; The first is an introduction to the bequest and its importance, its definition and evidence of its legitimacy, the second is introductions about the bequest, and Islam's care for it, and the definition of the origins of the six collections of the Sunnah, the third chapter contains a statement of the methodology of the six books in dealing with the research of bequest, and the fourth chapter has talked about the Islamic scholars agreement on the hadiths of the bequest and their particularity. The researcher relied on the inductive and deductive approaches, by referring to the six collections and their explanations, lastly the conclusion, which contains the most important findings and recommendations of the research.
